WTF?
https://twitter.com/ESPNSteinLine/status/619011693113311232 The Kings are just terrible.
I'd much rather have McCallum than price.
Freaking Spurs. Ugh.

Better off? Didnt we get Marcus Banks as our Plan B that year?

I'm talking about '97. Dice. Denver. The way they wouldn't let the Suns reps talk to him.

Oh yeah. That move almost gave me a stroke. All those bums got what they deserved in the end.

Hardly. As pointed, that led to Marcus Banks. A versatile wing with ability to defend and playmaking was just what that team needed. That's why three picks were offered to Seattle so we could take Thabo.Shabazz wrote:He did us a huge favor.Cap wrote:Yeah, John Salmons did that to us. Quite annoying.

Thanks Mori. I have been trolling the site for the past few years limiting my posts. Just remembered that I am still a teacher with some summer left over. More posting for me. Just wish I hadnt traded in my Nba 2k. This free agency period was awesome.

Another brutal deal, but who cares with the new cap. Let's see if the Thunder play along. I guess they wouldn't if they were free to choose, but their salary landscape and the rest of the roster make losing him for nothing a really hard pill to swallow.
Hard to justify it from the Blazers standpoint, I believe. They are done competing and they have Vonleh, Meyers and Mason Plumlee to develop. Plus, Lillard-Kanter kills your defense. Could be more shallow than Nash-Amare.

It seems that yeah, Presti in fact is not in the business of losing stuff for nothing.

Re: NBA Free Agency
If they match, what will be the price for Hinkie to take Novak? What about dumping PJ3 and Waiters?
Phoenix should jump on taking PJ3 to play stretch forward, by the way.

#1 - the Kanter contract is terrible.
#2 - how many PF/Cs do the Blazers need?

With Wes Matthews getting a max deal, that Kanter contract is a bargain. I dont care how bad his defense is, he's a load in the paint.Shabazz wrote:#1 - the Kanter contract is terrible.

Love, Hurts.
Re: NBA Free Agency
The Matthews contract is even worse.
I actually like Kanter, but he may be the worst defensive big in the NBA.

Re: NBA Free Agency
Agreed. That move is completely unnecessary for Portland. And I really like Kanter. But that's a bad deal for them. That's a Ryan McDonough move.Shabazz wrote: #2 - how many PF/Cs do the Blazers need?
