I distinctly remember KJ asking age-appropriate math questions to kids before he would give an autograph.
"Are you 10 + 8 years old? No? Want to come to Uncle Kevin's house for a shower and sleep-over?"

Blocking my ears and saying "LALALALALALALA" doesn't seem to work for the internet.

My favorite memories of Suns basketball happened there.

kurt rambis made the suns believe in themselves in their magical playoff run during his first year.

I actually came in kind of late - my dad didn't like basketball so I didn't really discover it until the 1975-76 Suns team and didn't become a hardcore fan until 1977-78 when I was a freshman in high school. Paul Westphal was my favorite player, but everybody loved Ron Lee and Walter Davis. Alvan Adams was the guy who was always under-appreciated because he did everything well but never put up huge numbers because MacLeod limited everybody's minutes.

I have a few vague memories of NBA basketball before that like the 1971-72/72-73 Lakers with Wilt, West & Goodrich, Abdul-Jabbar with the Bucks and the Hawk being with the Suns. About the only thing I remember from college basketball was Wooden's UCLA team with Walton which pretty much chewed up all the competition.

LL is the real old-timer around here!

Yep. It's almost comical and has ceased to be news.

Speaking of KJ, I can tell you that it blows my mind that I cant buy a brand new Mitchell and Ness KJ jersey (the 80s one) on the Suns website. I have to go to ebay and hope to find one thats actually legit.

Do they (the Suns) not own the rights to these jerseys? Do they not want my money?

How bout a Barkley Champion authentic jersey? Why cant i buy one of those?!!!

The suns site sucks, actually. Good luck seeing how much season tickets cost. You have to tell them youre interested and have some sales douche CALL you.

Ok guys I need your help/expertise.

This one CLAIMS to be legit game jersey. But theres a "K" on the back. I think its a fake (including the photo):

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kevin-Johnson-1 ... 4d23a07741

To check I googled a suns 1989 game and I dont see a "K" on the back of the jersey.

I don't think the Suns own the rights to classic players' jerseys. The individual player would need to license them I believe.
