Around the League: The Offseason
Re: Around the League: The Offseason
Just watched some of Clippers-Hornets. I like Cody Zeller. He seems to have added 3 point range. I'd love for us to swing a Kieff-Zeller trade and maybe we could use their loss of MKG to send them Tucker for another piece. Not sure who/what. But is be happy with the 1-for-1.

marcus morris king of the midrange shot
Re: Around the League: The Offseason
We already knew he could take contested mid-range shots all night. Thanks for the highlights though. I miss him already.SDC wrote:marcus morris king of the midrange shot

nice fadeway shot a feet or two inside the 3 point line. what a waste.
Re: Around the League: The Offseason
The better he plays there in Detroit, the more likely they stupidly trade us a bunch of assets for his brother.

Marcus was never a bad player, he was kind of a competently decent tweener 3/4 who could start in a pinch but would probably be better off the bench. It's his attitude as a human being that we could not stand.
I wonder what is going on with Markieff. He's saying all the right things and not being hotheaded. I wonder if there has been a split between the brothers, with Markieff keeping the agent that they used to share and Marcus dumping him. And Marcus is the one that is doing all the hotheaded instigating while Markieff is laying low. Interesting.

Marcus is the very definition of NBA average. Average size, position, production, even average contract (at least for the old standards, today it is pretty good value). I don't miss him due to his character but if you would listen to some people, you'd think he was an NBDL scrub.

You're happy with that average if he's a good citizen on a good contract.Ring_Wanted wrote:Marcus is the very definition of NBA average. If you're average and a bad citizen? Well, forget it. You're totally expendable.

No argument form me here. Actually, even if you are a good citizien and/or on a good contract, average is expendable by definition.
