Given the way CP3 flops, I would assume that his response to that smack was to tumble backwards out of the arena into the parking lot?

No, Paul hits Lopez in the stomach, Lopez shoves Paul in the face, Paul starts flailing punches, then Lopez clocks Paul. No flops, but Paul was the instigator:

Anyone got Insider on ESPN? They have a buyers and Sellers article about the NBA Trade deadline. I think Chris Paul is on the front page of it

I love how the Clipper announcers never mention any wrong doing by Paul in the matter. He just innocently got slapped in the face in their eyes.
