The fact that it happened so abruptly, the suns had no interim lined up and the press release dosn't even thank Horencek like the normal ones do, tell me their was a big blowup last night/yeterday between Hornecek and the front office that made them react this way.

If I had to guess, Hornacek wanted to play the vets while management was ready to roll out Booker and Warren for 40 minutes per game.

I'm glad for Hornacek, actually. Classy guy in a tough situation. McD really has to start learning those people skills quickly...I don't like how this suddenly happened.

In other news, Earl Watson has been named coach. For some reason I feel like he's McD's Lindsey Hunter. I trust Earl Watson more though. Not saying he's a savior or someone to keep around past the season, but there's some validity here IMO.

I wrote a while ago that the situations were kind of similar. Who knows what Watson will bring. Hopefully not a turn around at this point.
