Re: Jeff Hornacek Fired
We have to clear a out a guard. Booker has to start the rest of his career with us. So Knight has to go because I don't think he would be happy off the bench. Keep or trade Bledsoe depending on what the training staff says about his knees.
Tucker is valuable this season. There are some teams wanting a defensive wing for a playoff push. See if someone will bite on Chandler. Time to clear house again.

Now, we have the rest of shit to deal with - Snoke and McD running their analytics focused stupidity

Re: Jeff Hornacek Fired
If you were to do this, you do it at the AS Break i think. The fact that it happened so abruptly, the suns had no interim lined up and the press release dosn't even thank Horencek like the normal ones do, tell me their was a big blowup last night/yeterday between Hornecek and the front office that made them react this way.
For the record, I don't agree with this. Would of aited til offseason. But then again, I dunno whats going on behind the scenes either.

“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

Re: Jeff Hornacek Fired
Any word on whether his daughter Abby will remain with the team?

Re: Jeff Hornacek Fired
Yeah, probably. Tensions are running high. Players and coaches do not like losing. Horny was probably getting tired of tanking.Sunsfan4life wrote:If you were to do this, you do it at the AS Break i think. I agree with this, but I'm not a Knight fan.Indy wrote:That's his ceiling if you ask me.Ring_Wanted wrote:I can buy into Knight as a Barbosa spark off the bench.

Re: Jeff Hornacek Fired
If I had to guess, Hornacek wanted to play the vets while management was ready to roll out Booker and Warren for 40 minutes per game.Indy wrote:Agreed all the way around.Sunsfan4life wrote:If you were to do this, you do it at the AS Break i think. I'm glad for Hornacek, actually. Classy guy in a tough situation. McD really has to start learning those people skills quickly...I don't like how this suddenly happened.

"Hornacek relieved of coaching duties."
I'm sure he is.

Apparently, the players weren't aware of the firing until they heard it on the morning news.

Another example of a class organization.
In other news, Earl Watson has been named coach. For some reason I feel like he's McD's Lindsey Hunter. I trust Earl Watson more though. Not saying he's a savior or someone to keep around past the season, but there's some validity here IMO.

I wrote a while ago that the situations were kind of similar. Who knows what Watson will bring. Hopefully not a turn around at this point.ShelC wrote:Another example of a class organization.

Why not. Youngest coach in the NBA, no head coaching experience, now has to deal with an assistant who does have pro head coaching experience.
Good grief.

OK. Rich Paul again. Can this get any more convoluted?
