NCAA Tournament

Post by Sunsfan4life »

Best time of the year....32 games in the next 2 days. With the Suns likely to have 2 top 12 picks Should be fun watchig all these guys, particularly for people who haven't followed College B-ball throughout the yr.

Brandon Ingram (possible Suns pick and DX's #1 overall prospect right now) Gets it all kicked off tomorrow as #4 Duke takes on #13 UNCW at 12:!5. Grayson Allen who has been rumored to go anywhere from 15-2nd rd is also in that game for Duke.

Other guys going tommorow are Kris Dunn-Providence (9:50 DX's #5 prospect), Jamal Murray Kentucky (9:40 DX's #7 overall prospect), and Jakob Poeltl-Utah (DX's #6 prospect).

Some Sleepers that have caught my eye-Chris Horton-Austin Peay (undersized center who is the leading offensive rebounder in D1), Monte Morris-Iowa St., A.J. English-Iona and Domantas Sabonis-Gonzaga (DX's #26 prospect).

All things NCAA Tourney here....Get those Brackets ready! Sparty over Oklahoma is my predicted final BTW..

Sounds great. When does Ben Simmons play? Can't wait to see him dominate the tourney.

Thanks, SF4L. I was hoping someone would post the games of interest based on prospects. Keep it coming.

Happy vasectomy week! This is the week where the most vasectomies are performed in the U.S. in a one-week period. I guess people like to watch basketball while they ice their balls.

Simmons will be playing Dragon Bender 1 on 1 at European YMCA. Winner becomes the #1 pick loser has to spend the 1st 4 years of his career coached by Byron Scott. High Stakes? Indeed.

I highly recommend staying up late to watch Kris Dunn of Providence vs USC. Not alot of people have seen him play, but he's very good and is projected around the 4/5 pick on a lot of mocks. He's age is working against him. That gm is on TBS 9:40.

Most entertaining game of the day? Prob Iona vs Iowa St. Game should be in the mid 80s. Both teams get up and down.

I've been watching Rico Gathers since his freshmen year, waiting and hoping the Cardinals pick him up.

Btw, I heard Bertrand Berry the other day criticizing Nate Robinson for saying he wanted to try the NFL. He said it would be easier for an NFL player to make the NBA than the other way around. I like Berry, but this really makes me question his Notre Dame education. It's not even close, it's the other way around. Name one football player that all of a sudden decided and made the NBA? You can name quite a few the other way around though.

Marqueese Chriss and Dejounte Murray had huge games yesterday for Washington in the NIT. Chriss is a guy I'd look at. Murray is interesting too, plays like Russell Westbrook.

Gathers is a beast. Think he'll make a fine NFL Tight End.

Yale about to pull the upset.

Brandon Ingram had a nice opening rd game BTW. 20 and 9 on 7-12 From the field. I've been impressed when I've seen him play.

On another note...Officiating has been pretty bad throughout the early games. Absolutely no consistency particularly in the Yale-Baylor...Duke-UNCW games.

They couldn't get the ball to Mason and the other dude bricked both FTs, then Prince hits a huge 3. Baylor only down 1. Neither team has a time out, Yale ball.

Feel bad for Medford, but you gotta wonder why that play wasn't designed for Prince.

Mindboggling how Baylor couldn't keep the ball out of Mason's hands til the last 10seconds. He is the only guy on their team who can hit FT's.

Kris Dunn just tied Providence-USC with 1:13 left. Been in foul trouble all night. He's jumper is inconsistant, but he's so quick. He's in the Convo at 3 IMO.

Providence wins! 70-69. Last second out of bonus plays works for PC. Best finish of the day! Love the opening day of MM. Work tomorrow is gonna suck
