Game Day: Wizards (36-39) @ Suns (20-55), Fri 4/1/16

Post by Superbone »

Time: 7:30 pm AZ (7:30 pm PT/10:30 pm ET)
Place: Talking Stick Resort Arena, Phoenix, AZ
TV: FSAZ, NBALP

Fan favorite Markieff Morris returns to the valley! I can't wait to hear the warm reception he receives for all his great years of service and for being such a good citizen in his limited time here. Since the game won't be played in a vacuum ( ;) ), it would behoove us to lose this one. Better chance we get their pick as well as keep our ping pong balls high for our own pick.

Go Suns!!!

Man, that first shot by Booker was pure! He caught it behind the three point line and in one motion put up a perfect arching swish. It was literally perfect!

Is Jenkins kind of working out for us? Could he make a good 4th guard / shooter off the bench?
Go Suns!

Mirza is 4-12. He needs to slow down on the chucking.

Booker is 4-11. Much better.

I spent the better part of this game watching pro wrestling. Not even mad about it.

Awful 4th Q. Len has been pretty bad. 1-10 for 4 points.

If he would have had a good game, we would have won just from the rebounding differential. I'm glad we lost for our draft pick sake.

You guys think Len would be any good in a vacuum?

No, Len is way too big to fit inside a vacuum... and yes, I have been drinking.

It was, one single efficient motion. Did not bring it down, did not coil his body. Could not be quicker or more efficient.

They played Mirza, Len, Jenkins, PJ, and Archie much of the 4th quarter. Thats tanking. Also, listen to Watson's post game interview. He is treating the season like one long practice. Trying to get young guys minutes with the game on the line so that they learn how to close. That's tanking the right way. Play hard, try to succeed, but do it with your future players--even though Mirza, PJ, and Tyson were the best Suns players in this game. The young guys had opportunity, they just didn't play well.

True, they played well and played even through three and then put out the weakest lineup in the game to finish.

Keef's teammates played a kind of April Fool's prank on him:
