Who knows. The Pacers have been thinking that the Heat are their only real rival in the East so maybe this time they bring their A game. Anyway, winning four times against the Heat seems improbable, and if they lose the home court advantage quickly I think they are done.
I had to grade tests all day so I didn't see this one. How good did Indy look? Did they win this, or did the Heat choke it? Exciting to see anybody but the Heat win a game.
I won't say dominating, but the Pacers controled most of the game. Lebron was all by himself and the Heat could not keep up the scoring shootout with the Pacers (go figure).
But they need to get game 2 as well, or the Heat would be back on the drivers seat.
Heat tie it back up at 1-1. Wow, Lebron really has to put the team on his back to get them anywhere. Wade ended up with a good game, too. Lance Stephenson needs to realize that you shouldn't give an old vet motivation by talking trash right before the series.
Indy does look a lot better than I thought based on their play in the last two rounds, but it makes sense that they'd get up for this series. It's what they have been waiting for all year. I still think the Heat take it, especially now that Indy gave up HCA. If Miami just holds home court, they have a good chance to take it in 5 or 6.
I didn't see the game, but I heard talk that George may have gotten a concussion in the game and played the rest with it. Is this an overblown reason that Indy lost, or legit?

So George was just diagnosed with a concussion. That probably won the game for Miami. He was suffering from blurry vision and didn't shoot well or have a good game after that.

I agree. Pacers are a good matchup against the Heat in general, but when you rely on David West to be your brass balls / "I got this" guy down the stretch, there are problems. Everybody loves to trash Roy Hibbert, but where is Paul George? If he were really ready to be a superstar, he would have Indy in the driver's seat in this series.
