I want Leuer back too. Teletovic gone is actually a problem that has solved itself.

I hope not but it's certainly the kind of guy they'd look at. 28 years old, in 2 years he'd be 30 and probably ok with transitioning to a back-up role. Has already come off the bench some in NOLA. He's just very damaged. You give him anything more than 3/45 and you'll regret it badly.

All quiet on the Suns front. And nobody is complaining.

I'll listen a bit later but apparently Gambo is saying the Suns are sitting on their hands in order to throw the farm at Gordon Hayward next year. I think he's the Brandon Knight of SFs so i guess it makes sense.

Ehhh.. He can guard his position and his versatility is much more useful than Knights. The only thing they share is streakiness.
Love, Hurts.

I don't see Chriss seeing the floor at all in the beginning of the year. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing, but he simply isn't ready and I think the suns realize that. I think you'll see Bender between 18-20mins per.
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

There is a Milsap to Suns trade rumour

Not sure how reliable that source is

I would not mind Millsap at all if we could get him on a semi reasonable deal. If he wants anything near the max or a really long contract, I would be much more hesitant.

Millsap doesn't have a sexy game but he quietly had a great last couple of seasons. 17 ppg, 9 rpg, 1.7 blocks, 21.3 PER in 33 minutes. Seems like a good chemistry guy.

http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/3015/paul-millsap

The main thing that doesn't make sense about it is that it seems like we have a power forward rotation now. Dudley, Bender, Chriss. If we also bring in Millsap, is it the old Suns 3-PG problem all over again but with PFs? We can't play all of these guys. If we bring in a Millsap, we're basically committing to not playing the young PFs for a year or two.

EDIT: Would not want to give up a bunch of picks for Millsap if he can just opt out in a year. Maybe makes more sense to pursue him in FA next summer if at all.

Ya Millsap doesn't make sense for us at all. I love him as a player, but not for us right now. No idea why Atlanta would want to trade him either. I think he's better than horford.

Apparently it would be for picks. That trade would be awful for the suns situation. If you really want millsap go after him in free agency nxt yr. But I'd rather see us stand pat.

Milsap can opt out next year cant he? and why wouldn't he with all the cash being thrown around. sacrificing picks for what may be a stop gap doesn't make sense. just wait and see if he falls in our lap (ie what we should have done with Brandon knight)

Wow missed the mark big time here bud. Hayward is not LeBron but he is as well rounded as they come.

Millsap is a delight but unless Phoenix goes all in and moves picks and kids for other stars, he makes little sense to us. I doubt Atlanta is probably entertaining moving him, but if they were it has to be because they believe they won't be able to retain him next year with the cap increasing even more.

I don't think I have. Every time I watch him I get the same feeling I do when I watch Knight. He's just as likely to shoot you out of a game as he is to keep you in it. We just don't see him on shaqtin a fool so I guess that makes him better? He's still shooting awfully similar. 19ppg with that pesky 34% from 3 and low 40s from the field. Brandon takes 17 shots while Gordon takes 15. Also, not the biggest fan of DRPM but he's 36th in SFs playing next to Gobert. Dudley is 17th & Tucker is 22nd. He's 6 in RPM though which is nice, while our new $10M man is 9th.

Neither can carry an offense alone on good %s, but the difference is that Hayward can and does has the mindset to create for others as playmaker while Knight is good only at looking for his own. Hayward is not George or Kawhi but he can hold his own. Knight is just too weak.

Just wondering...the salary floor will be about 85mil next year? According to HoopsHype, we're at 61mil in salaries going into next season, not including Dudley (10mil) or our rookies (roughly 10mil combined?) Another few minimum contracts aside and we're pretty much there at the floor, then can spend around another 8-9mil to get to the cap limit of 94mil?

If the floor is really only 10M lower than the cap, that's crazy.
