Sell-out. Just confirms he's the loser I always thought he was. Way to join the team that's made you their bitch consistently instead of building a team to beat them.

And this has nothing to do with being a Suns fan. I'm a basketball fan and this shit is bad for the competitive drive of the league.

Unfortunately, it takes more than him to build it. I wouldn't have a lot of faith in the ownership in OKC. They have the problem of signimg and keeping big dollar free agents, just like the early Sarver Suns, they make decisions based on money. Shame in GS for wanting and being able to horde the best players. If it was the Suns doing it, we'd be all over this. I know at least I would.

Reminds me of Malone and Payton to the Lakers. Fortunately, that didn't work out for them.

Anyone blaming Warriors for going after Durant is crazy. Not sure if it's the best move for him, but he might just get the championship next year, get that off his chest and move somewhere else :P
Does OKC trade Westbrook now?
EDIT: What if nobody wants to take Bogut away from the Warriors?

So, it's bad for parity, which some fans care about. What it isn't bad for is the league and dollar signs. The casual fan, which is I'd guess 75% of all NBA fans, love super teams. It drives ratings. I guarantee the league is ecstatic.
Go Suns!

Next year, the pf kids turn out to be great, Booker takes another step in his ascension, Len breaks out, and the Suns land another big time draft pick. This shows the pg and sf positions as the weak links on the team, and Westbrook and Durant decide PHX is where they want to finish their careers together building a dynasty. Dreaming is free...

This was the worst NBA playoffs in a long time. I'd like to see their tv ratings compared to years past. Sure, it'll drive jersey sales for Durant for the short term way up, and a few times a year when the cavs-warriors play it will be bananas, but when you have the Blazers getting pummeled by 50 every game in the first round or teams getting blown out in the conference finals, that can't be good for the league.

And Durant has a history of being critical of players chasing rings.

Go figure.

He's got one year left on his contract at $11 million so someone with cap space will take it if GS sweetens the deal with enough draft choices.

Of course this will leave GS with less depth (especially up front) and two players (Durant and Curry) who have had injury issues in the past.

I was thinking that teams should just decide not to take Bogut :-)
Obviously it only takes one to cave and there's cap space aplenty so they will get it done but I hope they pay dearly.

But if you're Brooklyn or Philadelphia and Golden State says "take him, we'll give you a couple of #1 draft choices" you're going to take him for a year. It's in the best interest of your franchise.

You are talking about a team that was up 3-1 over the Warriors before choking and losing 3 straight. I think the front office did their job and the players failed to come through.

I heard on the radio this morning that the ratings were fantastic. I think there's a reason that Tv deal just cost so much. Shrug. I guess we'll find out.

Golden State is certainly the prohibitive favorite, but let's not hand them the trophy yet.

Vegas o/u is 68.5. So even money is they get the 3rd most wins in NBA history. That's crazy.

I know, I know :-) I'm just sorry everyone has cap space so there's no leverage.
I guess the only thing to worry about is chemistry, but I somehow expect them to figure it out, if not sooner in the playoffs.
They did just put a ton of pressure on themselves though.
