Leandro Barbosa returns to Suns: 2 years / $8M
Re: Leandro Barbosa returns to Suns: 2 years / $8M
Seems like a bad move from a chemistry stand point. Kicking Price to the curb after he spent all summer working with the guys seems harsh. Especially when Price is much better at running the point.
Incoming trade? Maybe we are packaging something like Chandler and Goodwin for a body and future picks?

I really don't want us sacrificing our future for a year of Westbrook
Re: Leandro Barbosa returns to Suns: 2 years / $8M
Lou Amundson and James Jones are still available...

If we make a move for Westbrook without an extension (even if he signs one it will be a 1+1 so a 2 year rental) I am done. I don't say that shit lightly but if we give up Bender and an unprotected pick I am out of here.Danimal wrote:I really don't want us sacrificing our future for a year of Westbrook

Westbrook would bail on us after a year. It would set us back so many years.carey wrote:If we make a move for Westbrook without an extension (even if he signs one it will be a 1+1 so a 2 year rental) I am done. You can turn filtering on or off in the User Control Panel. Board preferences, display options.carey wrote:I can't curse here anymore?carey wrote:If we make a move for Westbrook without an extension (even if he signs one it will be a 1+1 so a 2 year rental) I am done. It's default is on. I see it.
Re: Leandro Barbosa returns to Suns: 2 years / $8M
I love having him back but something is going to have to give at the guard spots. We need to move 1 minimum, preferably 2 out of Archie, Knight, and Bledsoe.Shabazz wrote:I'm the biggest LB fan out there, but whuuu?

If those 3 are the options, I vote to keep Archie.

It would be Antonio McDyess all over again.EDC wrote:Westbrook would bail on us after a year. It would set us back so many years.

Two (Chandler).

As someone else mentioned I am an even bigger LB fan then Dudley, but I don't see how this makes alot of sense. I can see Dudley being 1 of the better forwards on theroster but LB isn't better then Knight or Bledsoe and Ullis and Goodwin are still developing.
HOWEVER, it is essentially a 1yr deal. would of rather of locked in Brandon rush to that deal. LB is better suited at the 9th guy on a really good team then the 9th guy on a rebuilding one.

“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

He's better than Goodwin.

I didn't say he wasn't, but those mins behind those other guys are best served for Goodwin and Ullis rather then an aging LB at the twlight of his career.
Edit: I did say he was better then goodwin! haha my bad. I meant Knight or Bledsoe
