Spurs turned around and signed Dewayne Dedmon for $6M/2 years, which is a steal.
I've liked Dedmon for some time now. Good move. Agreed on Det. Stan is spending a lot.
I don't know who that is.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Absolutely not. We don't need a combo guard. Much less 2 of them.

His playoff performance didn't exactly help.

Man does Ben Simmons have some of the best vision and passing I've seen in a big man in quite some time.

“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

I don't much like Boban outside of the Spurs. I did love him as Fezzig in Princess Bride, though.

Yes, a 6' 10" PG that can't shoot yet. He's barely scoring even in Summer League. If he ever learns to really shoot it, watch out.

A big specimen from Orlando's summer league team a couple of years ago. He made the team although he didn't get a ton of playing time, because he is limited, but can rebound, run, finish some and block.

Both are big ball handlers and excellent passers. Simmons is a rebounder while Bender is a shooter. I think Bender has shown a better defensive game.

I expect Bender to rebound and lead the break just like Simmons. Watson has said the same thing.

Sorry. I thought you were comparing Bender to Dedmon.

Jason Kidd of power forwards. Er, but maybe without the ferocious defense.

No I would agree that they are pretty different. Bender's two main strengths are his shooting and he is pretty versatile on D and from everything I hear takes defense very seriously and as a challenge. I really like that about him in the changing pick and roll NBA (You saw what value a tristian thompson had in the finals when he was switched onto Curry)

Simmons Passing, Vision, and dribbling for a Big are his best strengths. He was also a very good rebounder in college where as Bender as a meh one. His deficiencies are his shooting (right now...his mechanics aren't that bad, so it can be fixed), His motor and his defense and the question whether he actually wanted to play defense.

They're pretty different. Simmons will be starting alot of breaks for the Sixers this yr, I don't see that in Benders future nor do I see a play similar to what I posted earlier.

That is such a depressing article, Mori.
