Shooting below 30% from the field and the 3-PT line is missing a few shots?

Bender is definitely shooting very poorly in Summer League. He'll probably be a bust.
Go Suns!

I'm mildly surprised he is doing anything in the summer leagues. He is probably the rawest prospect in the draft, and couldn't get off the bench at Kansas. He did play well at the combine though.

Just asking SF4L a question, but whatever.

Well first off, he could of missed 3 shots and still shot under 30% from the floor, so although I know what you were trying to do (because he shot 3-13 from the field) you worded it incorrectly. In this case I had no idea how many shots he took.

2nd off, I had gone to .net to get an update from the game and ShelC said he didn't shoot the ball well, the boxscore was not right in front of me. Had you read the above post where I said "how did bender look I didn't see the gm" you would of saw that.

This is the type of stuff that gets you in trouble. Were you really asking me if shooting under 30% was just a few, or you just trying to be a smartass about it?
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

So to answer your question, Yes shooting under 30% could mean he missed a few shots.

Sorry, I thought that comment was referencing his summer league performance in general, not just this one game.
