I concur on Goodwin and Knight, athough the first news we've seen on the valedictorian are not discouraging.
Avoiding the press in the morning, as well as after the game, while others are giving interviews, is a bit discouraging.
He just got demoted. Who would go want to talk to the press after that? You wait until you show everyone that although you were demoted, you are better than that. He hasn't shown that yet, so we wants to avoid the questions until he does.
Are you suggesting that, if he'd had a better game than Booker, he'd have talked to the press about it?
He needs to learn not to see this as a demotion. He's backing up two potential All-Stars. There's no shame in it.

No. I am saying that when the team is doing well, and he is doing well, he will talk. In the early days of the demotion, you don't want to talk about it.
Avoiding the media was the smart thing to do, they were going to keep hammering the issue until they ran Knight out of polite answers, so he would get either caught by the feelings, or get ambushed by reporters starving for a single word, a facial expresión they could use for the sensationalist note.

Exactly. I don't think he is good at hiding his feelings, and he is very competitive (or he wouldn't be where he is). Of course he wants to start, and we want him to want to start.

I also want to start. But I ALSO suck.

Ok, for everyone thats been asking, here is a link for yesterdays game. Somehow NBA Broadband found my unlisted video this morning and filed a copyright claim (for their 2 minute long commercial during halftime), but they are still allowing my upload to stay up, it just might have a few commercials added (thanks to them). Also, it picks up in the 2nd quarter, as my 1st stream was reported within minutes and taken down.
Thanks Kerrsed! Working great. Just saw Booker nail a huge, deep contested 3. Kid is money.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

After watching the 2nd and beginning of the 3rd (thanks to you), I came away with a more positive impression of Booker, TJ, Knight, and Alex. Don't know how I'd feel had I watched the first quarter (and the 17 point hole we dug ourselves out of over the course of the portion I watched). Knight especially, with the ball in his hands, seemed a lot more comfortable.
The numbers on the night don't look good, but those last three quarters were encouraging. I think we've got a solid squad here, folks. Truly, a well-constructed roster. It's been so long! Having no Morrises on the team really helps.

I appreciate the link as well. I was pleasantly surprised.
Bender. Although he did not score, I loved his D. Defense comes naturally to this kid. His mobility is amazing.
Chriss. I admit, I have been more positive about Bender than Chriss, but Chriss impressed me. He doesn't overplay. He has a nice stroke. In most situations I found myself saying that he had the right idea, but just was a little off with his timing. He doesn't make dumb plays. Actually, I did not see anyone making dumb plays.
Ulis. Love him. Great addition. The only time his size seemed to be a problem was when Big Sauce tried to throw him a lob pass and sent it out of reach over his head. Almost any other NBA player could have gotten that pass.
Archie. Played well. Seemed focused.
Williams. Looks like a man out there. He is a nice option to have on the bench.
Len. I loved Len's play. He was mobile, he was active. He is such a presence.
Knight. Looked to force it some. Least impressed with his play.
Booker. Wow. This is how a star is made. Has an off night shooting but gets to the line. That is huge.
Chandler. Was Tyson Chandler.
Dudley. Active hands. He is a disruptive player in things that don't show up on the stat sheet.
Warren. Looked like a potential number 2 scorer.
Bledsoe. Played more like a floor leader than a combo guard. I like it.

It is easy to see the potential with this team.
Great review. As stated, I liked how Brandon played, but I agree with these sentiments overall. Better ball movement, better focus, better defense, reduced turnovers. We could pull a Portland.
Thanks for the scouting report, JCSF. That was a good read.

Seconded. I haven't had a chance to watch the replay. Really looking forward to tonight although I won't get to it until late as I'm playing ball myself from 8-10.
