TJ has been a huge disappointment in preseason. Shot's not falling, and he's not doing much else, either (though his D has noticeably improved). Look at last night's stat line. Ugh.

I missed the first half. But I believe it was the 2nd preseason game, TJ was killing it. Attacking the hoop, contorting and finishing at the rim regularly. Looked impressive. It's a shame it hasn't been consistent.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

The one thing I want to see this season is the young players getting enough time that they can develop. Len and Goodwin have been on the team three years and we have no idea how good they might be in the NBA.

Who was guarding Goodwin on that last iso drive? I couldn't tell from the highlights

He hasn't rebounded well but I'm not disappointed in his scoring. 10 points last night (though 0 rebounds,) 14 & 8 against Portland, 15 & 4 against the Jazz the previous time, and 8 & 2 against the Spurs.
Go Suns!

Carey, who is this Jones kid who played at the end of this game? I read he is just 19 and is pretty athletic. I'd take him for the NAZ.

Went to UNLV. They disqualified him 10 games into his freshman season for phony ACT scores which he denies. He looks the part. Long and very athletic. No idea if he can shoot yet. Some ppl said he guarded 4 positions at UNLV.

Northern Arizona Zunz? Or is this one of those things I missed like FOE?

NAZ for Northern AriZona, just like PHX for PHoeniX.

Probably not the right thread, but since we are already talking about this here:

http://www.brightsideofthesun.com/2016/ ... erent-year
Phoenix Suns Player Preview 2016-17: Archie Goodwin’s same story, different year

I have posted about Archie Goodwin for our season previews or reviews three times since he was drafted by the Phoenix Suns.

Not much has changed.

...
BSotS mostly says that Archie is still the last guard off the bench, still can't shoot, and still doesn't pass very well. His skills and situation haven't changed, and this is probably his last year with the Suns.

IMHO, he just needs to go to Europe and play. He's not going to get any better sitting on an NBA bench.

Archie could be a good NBA player in a few years in the right situation. I don't think this team is going to be that situation.
