But Boogie is terrible for team chemistry and will be a pain in the ass if he's not getting touches constantly. I'm afraid he'd stunt the growth of our young front court. Has he changed as of late and become a better teammate? I haven't really followed him after all of the crazy things he used to do. Maybe he's grown up now?

And thanks for the recap! Glad to hear Chriss is doing as well as the box score would indicate!

I don't think you can trust a damn thing you hear about Cousins from Sacramento. He's on his 6th head coach in 6 years....

I know that Coach K was having Cousins problems during the Olympics. And George Karl and him absolutely butt heads bigtime. Westphal had a lot of problems trying to coach him as well. He got suspended for getting into it with Keith Smart. Is he the problem? Or is really the organization? I do recall him and Mike Malone getting along really well and him being disappointed when they let him go.

It's funny. I constantly see Chriss making these same plays and improving the issue that plagued him. His in between game. When he wasn't making highlight reel plays, he'd take plays off and he's compensate by committing stupid fouls. This also led to him not getting in position for rebounds. He's 19 years old and looks like a man amongst men on many possessions. I'm very excited about his future potential.

He reminds me a lot of Amare with a better 3 point stroke and better defense, which is surprising considering his limited experience playing basketball.

I believe Cousins would be above awesome in the right circumstances but I'm not sure that would be on the current team. Sacramento management has to be at least as much to blame for their problems with Boogie as he is. That said, our management isn't currently known for having good player relationships, and this is mostly a guess but I think coach Malone has a very different approach and personality compared to Watson.
I am intrigued though.

Definitely encouraged by Chriss and I like the confidence to go at veterans. Bogut's not a tiny dude.

Regarding Cousins, yea he's crazy but I don't think he's a bad guy. I think he genuinely wants to win but hasn't had the right support system to show him how and then lets his frustration get the best of him. He's been absolutely wasted in Sacramento and should've asked out 2-3-4 years ago. Smart, Westpaul and Karl were bad hires. Malone was a great hire, had Cousins' confidence and buy-in, and had them playing well, and the FO fired him because they didn't like the style of play. I'm not a huge fan of Joeger but I think he's more in line with Malone than the others so maybe he'll have them playing better and will be able to keep Cousins locked in.

It's early, but so far Chriss is proving me wrong. Actually thought it was more likely we'd see these kind of lines out of Bender then Chriss. the 3pt shooting is espcially encouraging.

I couldn't get excited about watching last year's of his career Dirk and Deron Williams and Bogut every night. Give me Bledsoe, Booker, Chriss, TJ and Bender any night. I'll take mistakes with athleticism and growth. I think we'll have lots of highlights this season. It's nice to actually enjoy watching the Suns again. It's been a long and tough time these last few years.

Of course. But I'm not talking the fate of which franchise I would prefer. I'm just saying I like our young core today from an excited fan perspective over today's Dallas Mavericks team. Then again, I like the unknown and our roster has so much of that coupled with potential.

There was no long highlight video for this game.

It's still on Suns.com though. You can try Google Chrome, Chrome Store, Hidemyip, then select Phoenix. I personally use a VPN but this is apparently a free route.
