FAO: Anyone with NBATv
Can anyone with NBATv record the Suns preview show and put it on dropbox or vodlocker or something? I know the tech savvy among our user base is... not high but I had to cancel everything but basic cable last year and I'd like to see it.

I don't even have basic cable. Lucky.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

I will admit that I have no idea how to get a show off my DirecTV DVR.carey wrote:Can anyone with NBATv record the Suns preview show and put it on dropbox or vodlocker or something? I watched it. Nothing too insightful. A lot about Booker, Bender, and Chriss. Ulis went unmentioned. They said it's time for Len to make his mark.

Most of these preview shows are kind of frustrating to watch. A bunch of former players who don't really follow the team closely making obvious points and not saying much of substance.

Exactly. There was no real insight.Shabazz wrote:Most of these preview shows are kind of frustrating to watch. A bunch of former players who don't really follow the team closely making obvious points and not saying much of substance.

Ah well. Still kind of wanted to see what the national media were saying. Thought maybe they'd have some practice video, but we play tomorrow!Superbone wrote:Exactly. They showed the same NBA Rooks video with Bender, Chriss, and Ulis that AIG posted.carey wrote:Ah well. Still kind of wanted to see what the national media were saying. Yes, we finally play tomorrow and I get to watch it! Only because I live near Laker country and I get the Lakers' broadcast.

A lot of it was fluff. Talking to the rookies about adjusting to life in the NBA, talking to Earl Watson about his coaching influences.Superbone wrote:Exactly. There was a quick and simple rundown of who the rookies are and why they were drafted, and a quick overview of the roster.
For the casual fan who hasn't been paying any attention at all during the offseason and wants a quick summary of what he missed, it was probably a good show.

I know you're tech savvy Bone working in the video game development space and I'm an IT Engineer and Developer so I'm sure there are quite a few tech savvy among us. And Mori works for Microsoft, unless I'm mistaken.Superbone wrote:You do?carey wrote:I know the tech savvy among our user base is... not high
You're wrong Carey. WRONG!

You realize that's like 3 of you out of 401 and many of our base can't post youtube videos or tweets to the board.

The struggle is real. I know I've barfed a few YouTube link shares from my phone. The mobile app truncates the URL which isn't properly interpreted as a valid YouTube link.

That's a good point. That's probably who that show is targeted at.Cap wrote: For the casual fan who hasn't been paying any attention at all during the offseason and wants a quick summary of what he missed, it was probably a good show.

You know your old school around here when you remember that stuff. Wow. So Mori is actually the grand master of the techie echelon around here. Very nice. I remember you talking about going that route in the past. How quickly I forget things and I'm barely 33.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote:I did work for Microsoft back in 2003! Grand Master? Neither of those jobs proves that he can even turn a computer on!AmareIsGod wrote:You know your old school around here when you remember that stuff. Wow.
