“You know how I learned to shoot?” Embiid says. “I watched white people. Just regular white people. They really put their elbow in and finish up top. You can find videos of them online.”
There's also a story on how people used to think that since he is from Africa, he grew up poor. Truth is he comes from an accomodated family and he fooled people saying he had to fight a lion when he was young and he killed it.

Westbrook with 39/12/12 in the opening week. Almost identical scoring and rebounding numbers to Davis. Davis with far more steals and blocks.
In a video game, I would say both of those teams should sell their super stars for picks and young talent and start the rebuild now. I can't see a path forward for either team unless they luck out in free agency. And I think it would be luck, because nobody wants to go to either team. IRL, it's not that easy. I guess NOP is still bad enough to build through the draft, but I don't have a lot of confidence that they will get out of obscurity with late lotto picks.

Given how many NBA players don't really want to go to OKC, I think they need to do everything they can to keep Russell Westbrook. I don't like the dude but he's undeniably one of the top 10 players in the NBA. You can't just discard a guy like that for "picks" or "assets."
