P.J. Tucker 39min 3-12 fg. We can't find time for Bender?

I like the 0 turnovers.Cap wrote:Wow, look at that Ulis line. 4 steals, 0 turnovers, 10 pts, 2 ast, +13 in 14 minutes.

Tucker now 1-20 from deep.

What a fun game to watch except for the foulfest. Booker twists an ankle and Knight in foul trouble. Ulis gets some burn and produces big time. Chandler out and Williams gets a shot and produces, no, kicked ass with 15 boards. The Suns won but, the refs hated them it seemed. Half the fouls came from trying to fight around screens. Barbosa and Dudley were big too. Ulis and Williams bring so much energy.

Tucker's problem is he can't hit treys, but he still insists on taking them. But he was tough on the inside and with rebounding this game, so I'd give it a pass this time.carey wrote:P.J. Tucker 39min 3-12 fg. We can't find time for Bender?
The problem with Bender is that he still is a bit tentative. He doesn't necessarily do anything wrong, but sometimes he doesn't do anything, period.

Somewhere along the line, one of the coaches should tell him "You're not Reggie F'ing Miller. Quit trying the deep ball."Cap wrote:Tucker now 1-20 from deep.

Tucker's 3FG% has been respectable the last few years. He's just in a slump.

He needs to fill out that little boy body too. They all do after awhile but, he needs to hit the weights and the buffet.

Sometimes the shot goes. Remember how great Jimmy Jackson was the year he was traded to the Suns, and the next season his shot deserted him?

Let his game come to the fore. Then he can worry about adding a pound or two (Bender)Nodack wrote:He needs to fill out that little boy body too. They all do after awhile but, he needs to hit the weights and the buffet.

Tucker just getting over back surgery and has to regain his shot. In the meantime he's building a brick house.

that's the coach's problem, not tucker. if he's shooting poorly, pull him out. but he needs to keep shooting if he's open.LazarusLong wrote:Sometimes the shot goes. Remember how great Jimmy Jackson was the year he was traded to the Suns, and the next season his shot deserted him?

That's possible, but it's too early to give up. He may yet find his rhythm.LazarusLong wrote:Sometimes the shot goes. Remember how great Jimmy Jackson was the year he was traded to the Suns, and the next season his shot deserted him?

Am I seriously the only one that wants to see our no. 4 overall pick get minutes instead of Tucker? I'm shocked.

Somehow, with Warren sick, Chandler not with the team, and an 18-point lead with three and a half minutes to play, Watson still can't find a way.“We have to find a way to get him more minutes and it has to happen now,” Watson said.

bledsoe with only 13 minutes?

Most of us have just come to accept that regardless of what makes sense Coach is still going to give PJ huge minutes.carey wrote:Am I seriously the only one that wants to see our no. 4 overall pick get minutes instead of Tucker? I'm shocked.
I wish we would trade him.
The really scary thing is that it is a contract year for PJ. It would be just like our dumb ass front office to give him a 4 or 5 year contract. I just don't know if I could handle it if that happened. I'm just starting to accept that it will happen and slowly processing it so I don't go on a rampage when it actually happens.

It very well could. McDonough said on Wednesday that they envision Bender as a 4/5 meaning they will want a SF backing up Warren wether that is P.J. or someone else.EDC wrote:The really scary thing is that it is a contract year for PJ. I remember. It was after a summer where he ditched the preseason or whatever because he was 'a veteran'. In this case, Tucker has also missed his warming up due to the injury. The hustle is great but without a shot he is 15mpg material.LazarusLong wrote:Sometimes the shot goes.
