Malaise then complacency.
Random thoughts:
Tucker with 42 mins LOL. 28 total mins combined for the rooks.
Booker showing signs of life.
Watching this team attempt half court offense is just brutal.
Why does Len insist on taking at least 1 dribble every time he catches? He does this like 90% of the time when he should just go up with it. So maddening to watch.
I get that Bledsoe had a career high but it always seems the better he plays the worse the rest of the team plays or vice versa. Probably not accurate. Just how it seems.
How many games can Brandon Knight shoot under 30% and still get rotation mins. I'd rather see Jenkins out there. Why they gave him 70 million is beyond me.

About half the team is guilty of this and/or overdribbling. My guess is that these habit contribute to about 1/3 to 1/2 half the turnovers.

Tough to execute when passing is an alien concept.

I guess Watson is much further behind on learning X's and O's as I would have hoped. Seems he has a tight grasp on keeping players happy and attentive but there is alot of work to be done. Can't figure out why Watson leans so hard on the vets when we are a young team that needs to develop. I wonder if behind the scenes Sarver is pressuring him to have this team make a playoff push. I don't know any other way to justify how mins are distrubuted by Watson.

As for Sarver behind the scenes, I would bet my life savings that he is. A few weeks before Hornacek was fired, McD said in the interview that there was still time to turn things around because we were only 5 games out of the playoffs. Somebody in the office thinks this can be a good team.

It's hard to tell whether Watson is bad, or it's just our players. I seem to remember a lot of over-dribbling under Hornacek as well. That's the reason I would have liked to bring in a veteran teaching coach like Doug Collins or someone. But I agree that we don't seem to be playing any real offensive sets.djy2j wrote:LazarusLong wrote:"Why does Len insist on taking at least 1 dribble every time he catches?
