I just heard on The Starters that OKC was in serious trade discussions to try to acquire Rudy Gay. What do you guys think of that? I think he'd be a terrible partner for Westbrook given how much Russell loves to hog the ball and chuck up shots. They need to Iverson it up and surround Westy with a bunch of dead-eye three-point shooters who he can pass it to on the rare occasions when he doesn't choose to shoot the ball himself. 3+D all up and down the roster.

OKC needs another guy who can create shots for himself. there are not a lot of good wing players in the nba. and most importantly, he is the type of subservient player westbrook can control (unlike durant)

Law enforcement sources tell us cops got a 911 call to Avenue Nightclub after midnight, reporting a man assaulting 2 women and another man. Who knows whether he did this, and I do believe strongly in "innocent until proven guilty." But certain players do seem to be bad about putting themselves into situations like this that get out of control or escalate. Barnes does seem to be a bit of a bad seed.
