We should totally not give that Bender bum any more playing time.

Bender is fun to watch. It really is pretty amazing that they decided to start Chriss and continue to barely give Bender scraps. Before this game Chriss was at 288 minutes and Bender 142. I'm all for both guys getting minutes but there is no way Chriss' has earned double the minutes of Bender based on their play on the court.

-28 on the +/- for Knight tonight, the leader of all players for the Suns tonight.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

seemed to be a hint of coaching when we were going it to booker at the elbow and he was driving on curry.

With the bench we really need to try and run a play first and if nothing comes up let knight do his thing if there is under 10 seconds left. Instead knight puts up quick shots from the get go. Even if he makes them, no ones else is involved. its shitty bball to watch. What the rooks were doing at the end looked better

Was pleased with Bender.

Why are we so bad at pnr? We run so many yet rarely get it to the roll man. Harell from the rockets gets a bunch of easy dunk each game but we never get chriss involved unless its a 3pt shot if nothing else happens.
Wish we would run pnr with bender where he flares out to the 3pt line. Even if his man sticks to him he can drive on them. His drives looked better today and oh he actually passes the ball. had a nice to Williams in transition.

That was a really nice pass.

This game reminded my of an episode of NBA Open Court where they were talking about what it was like to play against really bad teams. Reggie said that before the game the Pacers would laugh together in the locker room about how they were going to let the other team stay in the game until the fourth quarter to give them just a bit of hope. Charles said he would always try to use those games to get the role players more touches. Well, that's about how the Warriors played last night. I got the feeling they could have beat us by 60 if they wanted.

Yeah well they have 2 of the 3 best players in the world and another 2 that are basically all-stars. We have what we have which is not much.
Go Suns!

The Warriors had also just played a 2OT game two nights before, so I wouldn't be surprised if some of them were tired.

Did you notice that Kerr kept Durant in the game until way late, even though they were up by over 20 points? There would be a substitution of some other player, the "sub" horn would sound, and Durant kept looking over at the bench like, "not taking me out??"

I didn't expect much going into this one. I will give a shout to Beldsoe for playing hard and looking focused out there. Unfortunately when he takes over it's at the expense of everyone else. Never seen a team that lets a C list star like him dribble the whole possession with every one standing watching until he shoots. It's astounding.

At what point does management just say "Ok Brandon Knight does not fit what we are trying to do and is hindering the development of the team being out there?" He is a turnstyle on D and has 1 good game for every 10 had ones. I know they gave him 70 million. Not my fault. I'd rather see if Jenkins has anything.

Why is Tucker our 2nd option on offense?

I saw a few tweets where the Phoenix local media on Twitter were just ripping into Knight. They know he stinks. I hope they write some scathing articles about how crappy he is.

^ Because our coach is a moron, that is why.

I am waiting a few more games and then am going to start a "So what do we think about coach Earl Watson?" thread. I want to give him about 1/3 of a season, but then I'm going to unload on what a shitty coach he has been.

I've been opposed to Watson from the start, and have done my best to hold back and give him a shot. But it's getting to that point when we need to ask what he's really accomplishing. And yoga/meditation doesn't count, in my eyes.

After the grueling process of interviewing ZERO other candidates I think they chose the right guy.

It's especially frustrating since this roster clearly needs an experienced coach.

Said it before, my guess is Chriss is Sarvers guy.

More than that, there is talent on the roster. It's not like he's coaching the Nets or Mavericks - mind you, the Nets are an extremely well coached team without arguably their best player in Lin. We have Bledsoe, Booker, Chandler, Knight (he's talented)...I'll be the first to admit it's not the best mix of talent, but we should be able to score and defend somewhat competently.

Chriss is unplayable at the moment. He is too weak so he fouls like crazy, then at the other end looks lost. No intangibles. Bender, on the other hand, looks like he belongs by a mile. We are wasting time iving minutes to Bender. Bender-Dudley works and is probably some balance to the abundance of brainless, although I am seeing less dumb plays this season than the last couple of years, leaving aside certain poor shot selection, to which Booker is not inmune, btw. The centers are a problem, we don't have good weak side defense and it hurts a lot compounded with a soft perimeter.

The unfortunate Chriss broken finger may give Bender his opportunity.
