There seems to be some confusion on where to put NBA draft conversation/goings on that is Phoenix Suns specific. Put it in this thread!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Suns are getting a reputation as having one of the toughest pre-draft workouts.
http://www.azcentral.com/story/sports/n ... /10111929/
"We've had a number of agents tell us this is one of the toughest workouts — if not the toughest workout — on the predraft circuit," General Manager Ryan McDonough said Friday. "We take pride in that. We want our guys to be really well conditioned. If we want to try to get up and down the floor and lead the league in fast-break points and run teams out of the gym, you're going to have to be in shape."

I wonder if they will bother bringing in Doug McDermott.

Apparently, Nik Stauskas has only worked out for the Hornets, Celtics, Lakers and the Suns.

Does anybody know if the Suns have brought in anybody for a second workout yet? Or least a short list of players they want for each draft spot?

Rick Bonnell
@rick_bonnell
Stauskas working out for only 4 teams: Hornets, Celtics, Lakers and Suns. This was his 1st workout.

Stauskas is very confident he can't fall past the Suns at No. 14. Makes you wonder about a promise.

INF, I like how you have your draft choices broken down by pick. Are the players in each of those picks also in order of preference?

Pretty sure he's already riding shotgun.

INF will be riding shotgun with SDC?
I wonder how Pau Gasol plays into this?

Seriously though, why haven't we brought McDermott in?

Good question. Maybe they don't think we'll have a shot at him. He's currently #8 in DraftExpress's mock draft.

We have the ammo to move up, I just wonder if he's not toolsy enough for McD. His shot is A+ but after that he leaves something to be desired.

Yeah, I don't know. Have we brought in anybody else out of our range?

Maybe Mcdermott won't work out for us? I know we are having trouble bringing in the consensus top 8 in and not from a lack of trying
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

Let's hear some Suns' draft predictions. Do we package picks and move up or do we stay static? If the mandate is to end up with less than three first rounders, how does that happen?

I think the possibility of making a Love trade is holding some teams back a little. That and Minnesota's indecision of what they want or when they will pull the trigger.
I predict that the Suns will package some picks to move up.
