Down 25. Guess who's the only Suns płayer with positive +/-.
Spoiler: show/hide

we make a lot of bad fouls on 3pt shooter and soft ones in transition from being out of position

Nice couple of trips down the floor for Bender - a dunk, followed by 3-pointer

We couldn't even get garbage time right, it was just knight jacking up shots trying to get his. Quite possibly the worst example to set for the young guys.

Suns were never in this one, probably from the time the team bus arrived. Got blitzed early then seemed to be trying to match the rockets with outside shooting. Very little defense. It took until the 3rd qtr where we decided that with no shot blockers we should attack the hoop.

I'm sure i have said this before but we looked like a shitty version of Portland. All our offense involves is our guards trying to do everything at the 3pt line. Our shot chart probably looks awful, just too much iso. Booker was just trying to do too much. In the 3rd there was a couple of plays where we ran a few off ball screens for him and it looked decent. Wish we would do that more often. Almost no penetration to create for others. Needed to run at least some post up or even get tj, chriss, bender or Len in the high post more.

bender looked ok in his time, was good to see him out there. If he had hit a few more shots it would have been a very solid game...and his outside shot form always looks good. Earl will probably blame the loss on playing bender.

First career double double for Bender. Knight's last quarter chucking was terrible

It's good Knight was being called out on it.

What was he saying? Missed the game.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

It was just in the last few mins. The game was over as a contest and it was knight and the end of our bench on the floor. Yet Knight was only looking for himself and showed no intention of passing. EJ was saying knight can get his shot anytime he wants but its important he gets the young guys involved now since they have been the cheerleaders supporting the others through the losing all year. Getting them some shots now keeps them motivated and if they don't they might wonder why they bother to support those ahead of them through the losing.
Knight got taken out with two minutes left and I'm fairly sure EJ said that was a good thing/should have come out sooner.

I am paraphrasing but that was the gist of it.

it would only really mean something if Watson or McD said it

but then again they said the right things last week and it didn't translate to jack shit on the court
