Watching the game now, start of the 3rd has been fun. TJ with the steal, spin, and finish on LeBron!

Is anyone else astonished that Richard Jefferson is still in the NBA at age 36 and getting actual minutes? Better still, is anyone surprised that he's had the kind of career he has? He played 3 years at U of A and averaged 11 points per game all 3 years. To put it in perspective Jason Gardner averaged 10.9 ppg in RJ's Junior year (and 20ppg the next year!) Gilbert Arenas who wasn't drafted in the first round averaged 16 points & had better shooting percentages (52/42,) but you know... was only 6'3" and was definitely not a PG. I don't think in today's era of evaluating players he goes to the 2nd round like that.

Side note: I really liked that 02-03 U of A team. They were a #1 seed in the tournament (20-4 that year) but lost to Kansas by 3 in the elite 8. That's the team with Hassan Adams, Frye, Iggy, Salim Stoudamire, and Luke Walton & Gardner as seniors.

RJeff was an uber defender in college who developed an outside shot in the pros.
He gets credit for re-inventing himself later in his career to adapt respective team needs.
Well, so much for hopes and dreams ...

That was a really fun game to watch. I wish we could find a way to get our guys pumped up to play the champs when we play teams that aren't the champs. I assume that comes with experience, realizing you have to play that way every night in this league.

I really loved our defense in the 3rd. It is amazing how easy buckets come on one end when you play good defense.

I have a lot of family in Ohio, and most of my extended in-law family is from the Cleveland area. This is so true, especially about how much they hated him in 2010.

It's like Bulls fans in the '90s. Where are they all now?

Kind of. But I don't remember any Bulls fans saying that they hated Jordan and hoped he never won a ring because he chose to play some where else, then jumped back on his dick when he came back. To me, this is much worse. (And yes, I know that didn't happen because Jordan didn't leave the bulls to go play somewhere else).

They did mock him rather relentlessly for the baseball thing. But you're right about the jersey burners.

Yeah, I agree. I was a little worried when I saw Booker miss 3 contested layups in a row in the beginning of the game though. I thought he should have been able to hit those.

It wasn't just our energy level, and it wasn't just our defense. I noticed that we had incorporated at least one but possibly a couple variations to our sets that got the forwards more involved. Please more of that. It's clear that both Warren and Chriss have untapped facilitating abilities heretofore unused in our offense. Great to see that changing.

This was a "good loss." They played with effort, and several guys had good games. Also Knight got just 14 minutes, thank Jeebus. Wish Ulis had gotten in the game, but alas. 15 big rebounds for Chandler! Can he please teach Chriss and Bender a little of that?

I also think it's a little weird how much Lebron seems to love Bledsoe. Throws his arm around him after the game, always calling him "Lil Bron" and the like. Geez, get a room already. I wonder if they'll ever end up playing together.

Good enough for a -12 in a 4-point loss.

Boogie and Lebron will have to fight for him. Maybe they can become a new big-3 some where...

Awesome game. Ping pong balls safe.

They have been playing better as a team. Its starting to come together.

It appears all it took for this place to switch to "sunshine and rainbows" mode was Superbone going on vacation. Makes sense.

Or it was that we hung tough with the Cavs with the kids playing alright and Knight getting limited minutes. It might have been that.

We just want a fun team and some hope. It isn't all that much to ask. All the pieces are there roster-wise. We should be having more fun than we are. I cannot help but blame the coaching. I think it will get better.
