Booker huge 3, Hornacek's face was priceless. Suns up 107-105 with 31 seconds left.
Chandler's been great inside, Booker's driving the offense.

Two bad teams hooked up for a pretty good game.

Not a goodnight for the Lonzo Ball sweepstakes:(
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

The Knicks are such a mess. I'm glad we won I guess. Chandler had a solid game, tons of boards. I do think we should keep him here for as long as he wants to stay. Sad to see Warren with so little impact. All 3 rooks got a decent number of minutes, which is always the first thing I check.

Would you trade rosters with the Knicks? I wouldn't. They have Porzingis who is a phenom, but the rest of their roster is poodoo and they don't have many good future assets to work with. I certainly wouldn't want their front office.

No, I wouldn't want their roster. What they need to do is move Melo for assets but they foolishly gave him a no-trade clause. It wasn't necessary. He wasn't going to turn down that money and leave New York where his wife works. He'd have signed that contract without the clause in it. Melo should really consider a trade to the Clippers or even the Celtics. I'm not sure if IT-Melo-Horford is enough to challenge the Cavaliers (probably a strong no) but Boston isn't that far from NY so it could make sense.
If the Celtics wanted to go all int hey could make a push for Melo and then trade for Chandler. IT-Bradley-Melo-Horford-Chandler. A decent mix of offense and defense.

The issue with the Celts is that they'd probably have to give up key role players who could be more valuable in a series against the Cavs (Smart, Crowder) that they may not be worth moving for Melo.
Clips make the most sense but with CP out it's tough. The trade would probably be Melo for Griffin but the Clips may need Griffin to finish out the season strong until Paul is back. He can handle the ball and work as a distributor, whereas Melo is just a scorer. If the Clips feel like they can maintain with Felton, Rivers, JCraw, Melo, DAJ and the rest, they could make the deal.

Griffin is an imperfect player, but I think the Clips would take a noticeable step back if they swapped Blake for Melo. Among other reasons, Griffin is much more unselfish than Carmelo (as you said in your message), and I think this would have a big negative impact on their performance. Blake is a bit underrated while Melo's value is overhyped by many NBA goers.

I agree that that would be a terrible trade for the Clippers.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote:Griffin is an imperfect player, but I think the Clips would take a noticeable step back if they swapped Blake for Melo.
