This franchise is so damn secretive about injuries. As a fan, it's really frustrating.

It is strange that I first kept hearing it referred to as a sprain, but then they changed language and referred to it as bruised. I can see that a bruise is more likely to end up being a small fracture, and depending on which bone is fractured, screws usually are great for fixating it.

I have an awful memory, but besides Warren's mysterious head injury, are there others?

Well, Knight had a thing last month that didn't seem to make a lot of sense, where he was out of the lineup with a wrist sprain, then back, then back out with the same injury. I think there have been others too but I also have an awful memory.

It just seems that all we ever get are the official reports that so-and-so is out with what is officially listed as such-and-such. We don't get detailed information about the nature or severity of the injury or how long the player is expected to be out.

All we have gotten from the team on Bender is "He's out tonight with right ankle soreness." That's it. What's causing the soreness? What treatment is he getting? How long will he be out? They give us nothing. We've heard rumors about a contusion, a sprain, and now an unspecified injury requiring season-ending surgery. Any of them — or none of them — may be true.

Now David Pick who is pretty plugged in with Euro sources is saying Bender is done for the year.

Fuck. That really blows.

Over here we have the booth where, for $5, Suns fans can take out their frustrations by punching 'Bone in the nuts. Proceeds go to Suns Charities.

Watson knew Bender would get hurt this year so he gave all of his minutes to PJ Tucker before it even happened. What a visionary!

I knew his injury was worse than reported that's why they initially ruled him out till post All Star break.

I think they made it worse by rushing him back so soon against the Clippers.

Who is they? Honestly? Do you think Earl was like you know what man, I know your ankle is injured but we're fighting for the 8th seed we need you out there Dragan. Take one for the team. We have a top notch training staff, and it looks to me like Dragan thought he could play through it, turns out he couldnt.

Again, that was never reported anywhere. Unless you want to source some random poster on RealGM.

What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

:D For the record, I didn't say I was up for more than my annual allotment. I need the recovery time.

David Aldridge saying 4-6 week recovery period for Dragan, so more of a "Sack Tap" than a full "Nut Punch."
