The games we have left that we could possibly win are Portland, Mavs, and Kings. The rest look like for sure losses.

Lakers don't have a lot of easy opponents the rest of the way. T-wolves twice, Portland, Kings and then the Pelicans. They could easily lose the rest of the games.

There is also an super small chance the Nets give up the #1 spot. They are playing better with Lin back and they play a lot of bad teams to close out the season.
They are up like 10 on Atlanta with like a minute to go. A win today would put them at 16 wins. We are currently at 22. Time to rest Booker?

ATL - 16 wins
PHI
DET
ORL
ATL
PHI

CHI
BOS

The Nets would have to go 6-3 over their last 9 games just to tie us. I just don't see that happening no matter how weak their schedule is.

I do think the Lakers could tie or pass us which would be nice. I see the Suns winning maybe 1 more home game tops. I really think they will just lose the rest though.

Don't underestimate the power of the tank. Everyone except Boston and Atlanta may have no reason to try. Brooklyn, without a pick will keep trying. Still think it's highly unlikely they catch us, but they could make it interesting.

Can't start 0-15 every game. Also need to defend the 3pt line. MKG made Booker's life hard, but the Armani has almost all the moves with the ball in his hands. TJ had a very good game. Our bench gave us life, but their starters made every shot they took, especially when we were close. Kemba was unstoppable, and freaking Marvin wouldn't miss from three. Frank the Tank is pretty limited, btw. His numbers this game show a better player than he is. Tyler Ulis missed one key pull up and right back on the defensive side he slept on Kemba (who got a pretty pass from Batum) and that was it.

I watched the Hornets broadcast. One of the announcers in the first half said the Suns were too young and naive to know when to give up. Loved that they got within 4 point with 4:30 remaining in the game. Of course, they blew their wad getting back in it. These young guys need to learn how to start a game so they're not always coming back from massive deficits.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

The thing I love about the Nets is that they really WANT to win. No tank for them.

They're not keeping their draft pick. There is zero benefit to tank.
