14. Phoenix Suns: Doug McDermott, Creighton, SF, 6-8, 218, Sr. – The Suns want to add shooting and missed out on Stauskas, but can add another talented shooter in McDermott.
Would we even select McDermott after not bringing him in?

Agreed. I think he's going to have a lot of trouble defensively at the next level. His disappearing act vs mercer where he looked petrified didn't help matters.
Regardless, seems like a nice kid....hopefully he proves me wrong.
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”
The draft game post is going up tomorrow. Side bets are encouraged. I expect everyone to play this year, not just the 5 that usually do. I have a ban hammer & I'm not afraid to use it!
Seems like the two guys they are most high on linked to Phoenix are Stauskas and Warren. Had some nice things to say about Lavine as well

It is weird move. In theory it gets your fans closer and involved, which is great, but what if they had a somewhat consensus about the 2-3 guys they want and the team actually goes in a totally different direction? Would be akward, and if the guy they select ended up a clearly worse rookie you look like a clueless moron.
