i get somewhat why some are comparing exum to kobe. both grew up outside the USA and exposed in a different culture (italy and australia).

Ha ha! I hope INFOMERCIAL (finally remembered!) joins us for tomorrow. I'm excited to watch the festivities. I've got the day off of work. I'm going to roll out of bed. Watch the DVRed US World Cup match. Read NBA trade rumors all day. And then watch the draft play out live while commenting on our favorite site (RealGM.........Kidding!).
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Chad Ford:
"Suns have been very active. They’ve talked to the Kings about moving up to 8. They’ve talked about moving their picks for veterans. Interestingly, they’ve been talking about point guards with teams which may reflect an uneasiness in re-signing Eric Bledsoe to a huge deal this summer. I’m told that the four prospects they seem to be focused on right now are Elfrid Payton, Zach LaVine, Rodney Hood and TJ Warren."
It's good to see the Suns seem to be covering all bases. The point guard stuff is interesting. It would be odd if we let Bledsoe go after targeting him in a trade. It could also indicate a willingness to let Dragic go if they think one of those prospects would be a good match with Bledsoe.

I also wonder who the target would be at 8?

And another thing! While we're talking about Inf, he would be pleased that 3 of the 4 names Chad Ford mentioned are on his list of targets at 14 and 18.

Did I miss something? Is there a reason we're talking about Inf? Did he go somewhere? Or am I just clueless? :D

I have this strange feeling Bledsoe doesn't want to re-sign here and the feeling like we're ok with that. I think we like the dual PG scoring backcourt. I also think Payton has a bit of lillard in him and I'm actually excited about that.

Interesting take. I'm also a bit uneasy about how much it will take to keep Bledsoe and wonder what else we could get for the money.

He's nowhere near the shooter Lillard is, like his shot is Archie Goodwin bad.

As for Bledsoe, would trade him for one of the 3 top PFs in the draft, or a strong shooting 2 who can defend PGs.

Anyone else going to the Draft? I'll be in Brooklyn tomorrow watching the US game then at Barclays for the draft. It was an absolute blast last year.
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

Paul Calvisi @PaulCalvisi

#NBA sources say #Suns are "looking to move Eric Bledsoe" & are exploring trade options for sign & trade. Other sources say "not surprised."

That Calvisi tweet fits right in with all the PGs the Suns have been auditioning.

I say to LAL or SAC if one of the top 3 PF are available.

I'll have it up in the morning. Both my kids are sick. One with bronchitis. One with 103 fever right now (which is why I'm up at 3 a.m.)
