Everybody missed on Kawhi, like they missed on the Freak, George, Booker or Butler. Meh. Still a terrible GM.

This is what I'm most worried about. Missing on someone that falls.

I'm not mad that we didn't draft Kawhi. I love the guy, but the Spurs have done an excellent job mentoring and molding him into the player he is today. I agree with those who say he probably wouldn't be quite the same player if he had been here. It was better for the game of basketball that he went to San Antonio.

I do remember on that draft day agreeing with the conventional wisdom. "Man, this Kawhi guy fell like 5-10 spots too low and the Spurs nabbed him. Everybody is saying they got a steal. So now of course he'll probably turn out to be awesome." And sure enough.

I think it's cool Booker wants to take part in the draft process. Can't hurt.

Love it. Very excited that he will be interviewing potential draftees. Giving him responsibility within the organization is the best way to ensure that he stays with the Suns throughout his career. He has such a great mind for the game; let's see if he has an eye for talent, too.

I just like the commitment it shows to this team and franchise. Sounds like the behavior of a guy who wants to retire a Sun. I like it.

The Suns believe that Chriss is going to end up being one of the best ever at PF.

Yes. Please let Booker get involved as much as he'd like. We can't gamble with losing him down the road.

I agree. After seeing him last year, call me skeptical as all hell.

I agree that Jackson is the best fit. He's give us some much needed length, athleticism and perimeter defense plus some playmaking. Probably won't need a ton of shots early on so Booker is still 1A.

I do worry about shooting tho. Bledsoe isn't a shooter, neither is TJ and I wouldn't call Chriss a shooter either. We've talked about Bender's struggles. Maybe Chriss and Bender keep getting better but I think floorspacing could be an issue.

I keep seeing Jayson Tatum in most mock drafts, that's the one scenario I'm afraid of. Jackson, fox, or Isaac needs to be our pick.

I think Tatum might be a better NBA player, but Jackson is probably the better fit. I like Tatum more than Jackson, but we need perimeter defense plus length and athleticism.

My issue with Tatum is he's just an ISO scorer. He's a good one, but he doesn't create for others, isn't a great defender, and isn't a great shooter(Jackson actually shot better from 3) We all already complain about Bledsoe and Knight not passing enough, I think we'd do the same if we draft Tatum.

Isaac looks slow and lost. Bleh.
Love, Hurts.
