2017 Suns NBA Draft (4th, 32nd, 54th)
Re: 2017 Suns NBA Draft (4th, 32nd, 54th)
Even if he's 6'3" he's got a very average wingspan, so thats gonna make him play smaller. I see a lot of our old friend Eric Gordon in him, Gordon used to be a very good athlete before the injuries took him down a few.
Love, Hurts.
Re: 2017 Suns NBA Draft (4th, 32nd, 54th)
Eric Gordon was also a very good sg when he played in LA.

I saw the wingspan in the weaknesses.

You're probably right though, I'm seeing the same thing everywhere else. I wish I knew if Diallo was more like Monk in shooting than Goodwin.TheOriginalOriginal wrote:Everything I've seen is 6'3"

No idea, but he's definitely a talent worth taking a shot on at 32. He's an incredible athlete.In2ition wrote:You're probably right though, I'm seeing the same thing everywhere else. Have any of you seen or been aware of Deonte Burton? I've mentioned him before, and could be a steal with 54.

He's definitely more Goodwin right now. He has plenty of time to improve, but he shot 17% from 3 in HSTheOriginalOriginal wrote:No idea, but he's definitely a talent worth taking a shot on at 32. Re: 2017 Suns NBA Draft (4th, 32nd, 54th)
He's measured 6'6 or 6'7 at every basketball camp he went to since 2013. The 6'3 wingspan measurement came when he arrived at Kentucky. I don't know how reliable those basketball camp measurements are, but considering he's been measured with a 6'6 wingspan at every camp since his freshman year of high school, I'm leaning towards the 6'3 measurement being wrong.In2ition wrote:You're probably right though, I'm seeing the same thing everywhere else.TheOriginalOriginal wrote:Everything I've seen is 6'3"

Knicks fired Josh Longstaff, an assistant who used to be in OKC and went to NY with Fisher. He became Porzingis' favorite coach and was helpful in his development, going to Latvia last summer to work out with Porzingis. If we're smart, we hire the guy and make a play for Porzingis. Solid basketball coach either way.
Re: 2017 Suns NBA Draft (4th, 32nd, 54th)
What do the Knicks want besides our pick, that we are willing to give up? I would give up on any two asset we have in addition to #4, except Booker.ShelC wrote:Knicks fired Josh Longstaff, an assistant who used to be in OKC and went to NY with Fisher. They can have #4, Bledsoe, Bender, and my sister's hand in marriage. Anything!Indy wrote:What do the Knicks want besides our pick, that we are willing to give up? Seriously, though, we all know Porzingis is a stud. I do wonder how much a stud big man matters in today's NBA, but I would take the risk for a guy as skilled and competitive as KP.

I just got it from his draft express profile. Under the pre draft measurements section.TheOriginalOriginal wrote:Link to this info?

Phil Jackson is the worst! He is totally screwing up that team. It would be great if we could benefit from it.ShelC wrote:Knicks fired Josh Longstaff, an assistant who used to be in OKC and went to NY with Fisher. They would make us take Melo.Indy wrote:What do the Knicks want besides our pick, that we are willing to give up? #4, BK, Bender, and a future first
for
Porzingis and Melo
I am assuming Melo is negative value at this point. If not, this will not make sense.
Re: 2017 Suns NBA Draft (4th, 32nd, 54th)
I honestly think #4 and Bender would start the convo. I'd try and get their pick (which they may give up) or their 44th. TJ would be a good triangle player but I'd be hesitant to give him up without a pick to get a replacement player. I do like Kuzminskas and I think we had interest in him at the deadline. I'd push for them to take either Knight or Bledsoe as well but doubt they would if they have those high picks. We'd also have to take on more salary like Lance Thomas and KOQ. So basically #4, Bender and TJ for Porzingis, Kuzminskas and their 44th.What do the Knicks want besides our pick, that we are willing to give up? I would give up on any two asset we have in addition to #4, except Booker.
Re: 2017 Suns NBA Draft (4th, 32nd, 54th)
They can't make us take Melo because he has a no trade clause. Doubt we're on the list of teams he's approved.JCSunsfan wrote:They would make us take Melo.Indy wrote:What do the Knicks want besides our pick, that we are willing to give up?
