Sorry, that was the numbers through mid-january. I got it from a review written around then about him. He picked it up quite a bit the last 15 games (including the tournament).
The 57% FT shooting is alarming though. That's not a good sign. And that's the college free throw line. ;)

Melo has an NTC. Why would he agree to come here?

Some poster speculate that he might want a buyout. He's 32 and could potentially get one more big contract. He might think he would be one of the bigger names on the market this summer, and could get 100 over 4 or 5. If he plays out his contract for 2 at 50, will he get 50 in his next deal? Probably not.

We tend to be hard on him on this board, but he was an all-star this year and is still scoring like he always has. He might have a higher opinion of his value than we do.

What's $40 between billionaires? Jk I guess you could trade Knight to offset the cost somewhat.

Isaac is a hound on defense and pays attention to what happens around him. Very fundamentally sound defender. Poor shooter but having two sticks for legs doesn't help. If he builds up his lower body he'd improve there and gain explosion, which he also lacks to attack one on one, from what I see. Has some handling ability but bounce is too high. Shouldn't try iso at the moment. Warren is light years ahead offensively but could be a nice complement to Booker and give the team a dimension it doesn't have right now. Problem is overall upside for a #4 pick, but I think he has relatively low risk.

De'Aaron Fox is a tremendous talent. I could see 76rs taking him, but If he is available and some team offers draft stock for Bledsoe, I grab him and run.

No team will want Bledsoe on draft night. Point guards are a dime a dozen right now. We are saddled with him for awhile unless we give him away.

I'm already ready for Lonzo Ball to be out of the league. Can't remember that last guy that came in that was as much of a circus as he is.

Perhaps, but look at the #5 to #14 lottery teams. You could make a case for each team as long as the direction of the hypothetical destination is to win more now. If you agree to take one bad contract to offset the injury risk, I think it's not unrealistic given how proven Bledsoe is.

I think NY and Dallas would happily trade their 1st for Bledsoe. I think Minnesota might too. I think we undervalue Bledsoe a lot on this board.

I don't. I think we could get a lotto pick for him today if we wanted. I still think the team is undecided on what to do. Keep Bledsoe and deal #4 for immediate help. Trade Bledsoe and take Foxx or DSJ and another prospect like Isaac, Collins, Tatum, Markkanen, Anunoby later.

Which do you prefer?

Bledsoe/Ulis
Booker/Knight
PG or Butler
Chriss or Bender
Chandler / Len

or

Foxx or DSJ/Ulis
Booker/Knight
Warren/Isaac or Anunoby
Chriss/Bender
Chandler/Wililams

I prefer the latter.

The first one would be a lot of fun and if you could guarantee me PG would re-sign, I'd be tempted, but he won't so the latter one is the right choice. Butler is signed for 3 years, but is Bled/Booker/Butler a championship contender? Probably not unless Bender or Chriss turns into a star real quick. So my vote is to just let this team grow and keep building on the youth a little more.

Guys, I'm just lurking here lately, like old times.
But I have a question: nobody here is concerned about the lack of shooting from Jackson?
We don't have a lot of shooters as is, and it's not like the 80's are coming back...

Nobody at the top of this draft is a great shooter, unless you want to take Monk. And it's true that we need shooting, but also defense (and passing). Actually, we lack so many things that we are primed to take BPA without any other consideration, given that there is no SG in our range. Jackson checks two of the aforementioned needs, so it would be just a matter of determining if he is a better prospect than the likes of Isaac or Tatum (assuming Fox was gone to the 76rs), which seems the case.

It would be a big mistake to bring in an older max-level player on the wing right now. Booker needs as many touches and minutes as possible until we either find out that he's not a superstar or the whole team has developed to the point where we need one or two pieces to put us into title contention.
