I really like Justin Jackson at #12. A little early to take him based on a lot of mocks, but I think he's been overlooked so far.

Same. He's got good length and a solid shot. Should have a good run as a 3&D guy, ala Tayshaun.
Love, Hurts.

Gambo just reported that Semi Ojeleye, Kyle Kuzma, and Jarrett Allen are the ones that have worked out the best for them so far that they are looking at for the 2nd round #32. I'd be surprised if Allen is available. I would have thought that Hart would be on their radar too after seeing him 3 times.

Cap wrote:We may be overrating Bledsoe's trade value.

Earlier this season we ranked the league's top point guards, and the consensus was that Bledsoe was the 11th-best point guard. Now we have a bunch of star-potential PGs coming in at the top of this draft. That means half the teams in the league are going to have PGs they wouldn't trade for Bledsoe straight up, even before worrying about his knees.

We're talking about an average to slightly-above-average starter at his position, with red flag knees, and us potentially in a situation where we have to trade him. Basically it's the Keef situation with less drama (since it's knees, rather than character, raising red flags). I'd be surprised if we can get significantly more than we got out of that situation (late lotto pick).
I think Dallas would jump at the chance to trade #9 for Bledsoe. Bledsoe isn't a great triangle pg, but if NY abandons the triangle, they'd move #8 for him. Minny isn't happy with rubio and while they just drafted Dunn last year, he's been disappointing and thibs wants to win now. They might move #7 for bled. Orlando doesn't have a great pg situation either, but they are far enough away from competing and high enough in the lotto that they can probably draft one. Sacramento would gladly move #10 if they don't get fox at 5.

9 is probably the last spot I'd consider moving bled straight up for. The prospects after that just don't have enough value to me and I'd need us to have landed fox at 4 or Ntilikina being available at 9 to pull the trigger.

I'm fine with Josh Hart at #54 if they keep the pick, but I think he's a bad choice in the early 2nd round.

Bledsoe for the #12 straight up is impossible because the Pistons are way over the cap. I never considered that to be a plausible deal in the first place. Unfortunately, there isn't much on the Pistons roster to make the deal work for both teams.

Just some quick playing around... Bledsoe, #32, #54 for Boban Marjanovic, Stanley Johnson, and #12? Not crazy about a deal like that, but I'd probably go with it if it allows the Suns to pick Fox and somehow drop Knight down the road.

You guys dream up all these deals to move Bledsoe but McD hasn't shown any inclination to trade him. I'd be very surprised if he's not on our opening night roster.

I was listening to a Jazz podcast and they suggested Bledsoe for Exum. They wanted something in addition to Bledsoe for Exum. I personally would ask for 26 + Exum from Utah, since he hasn't shown anything.

My thoughts on Bled:

1. As bone mentioned, we've shown no indication we're interested in moving him.
2. Bled is 27, in his prime, and a borderline top 10 pg (as cap mentioned, we put him #11)
3. Point #2 would indicate that his trade value is the highest its ever going to be and we'd be smart to shop him
4. Any trade better bring an equally talented but perhaps differently talented player or a young prospect with potential in return. We're not getting any of the 10 pg's we'd rank higher, that leaves 3 or 4 vet pg on bleds level (Dragic, Kemba, Jrue, Teague) I don't really see a trade for them materializing.
5. What young pg prospects are available?
Dunn - Not interested
Russell - Ball in LA makes him expendable, but I'm not super excited about the fit with booker.
Exum - I'm not sure he's a great prospect anymore, not sure he's even a pg
Mudiay - Hard pass
6. We'd almost have to draft Fox for me to feel good about moving Bled. I don't really believe in the long term success of a Ulis-booker starting backcourt. I love Ulis as a backup 1.

So I guess my overall point is it would be smart to shop Bled, but if all he is gonna return is the 12th pick in a 10 player draft, we are better off keeping him.

Russell is a lot like Fultz or vice versa, which most around wish the Suns would have been able to draft. So its odd to me that some think he wont work with Booker.

Fultz is a better prospect than Russell. And I think Fultz will be better defensively. I don't have a problem with a Russell-Booker pairing on offense, in fact I think they'd be quite good. They could also both play with ulis which would make a nice 3 man back court. We'd have to hope for some big improvements defensively from them though.

Luckily, he's only our starting PG every other year.

Keeping the veteran core (Bledsoe, Chandler, Dudley) together will indicate that they're really pushing for a playoff berth. That'll lead me to believe that they'll take the most NBA ready player at #4, which I think is Tatum.

He's super long and super athletic. He could play with ulis or with Booker and having Jackson might help with his lack of playmaking.
I'll be honest, I don't think Mitchell's bbiq or feel for the game is very good. He wouldn't be in my top 40 right now.
I think his defense alone will make him a rotation guy. I don't have a good read on him offensively, but I feel like he's at least Avery Bradley. Or at least Avery Bradley before he was a semi consistent threat from 3
I've mentioned a couple times how much I like all the info I get on these college guys when reading the forum because I don't get to watch them as much as you guys. I have seen a bit of Louisville (Mitchell) though and surprised that his name came up here because I figure we are gonna target forwards. I will agree that his decision making needs to improve but that Bradley comp is actually good IMO because he has that ability to hound people and might be able to continue to improve his offensive game as he matures. Were u guys looking at pick 32 cuz I saw couple articles that he did quite well at the combine and was moving up the boards so he will probably not be around
