How many of the top 5 teams don't do those things? And I think you have to admit that the way the warriors play is really fun to watch (even if you don't like half their players).
Personally, I don't really care. If you're a great player in the league, you're defined by rings. And with the Ws, as much as they had a big 3 with Curry, Klay and Draymond, I think it's looking like it was really Curry and two amazing role players, not Curry and another superstar. So while the Ws were stacked, they played much more team ball, which I think has and will continue to evolve to where Curry and Durant are the alphas on the team.
For the league, I think NBA fans are probably frustrated that the superstars are joining up and that their teams - even the really good ones - don't stand much of a chance. But I also think it's a superstar league and fans want to see the best compete for titles. Curry, Durant, LeBron, Kyrie plus Klay, Draymond and Kevin Love...that's some good talent on the court.
The problem comes if/when GS rips off 2-3-4 titles in a row with no competition. That could've been the case this year had they won last year and my feelings might be different.

I dont think watching them play is anything special tbh, they dont do anything that the Spurs havent been doing for years. The ball doesnt stick, people move, they defend, its Spursball with 4 of the NBA's top 20 players and a deep bench. They get the best out of guys who were afterthoughts and late picks, its so Spursian its gross.

And that's the other thing. They're legit fun to watch with exciting players. Would you rather watch the Ws or the 2003 Pistons?
I'm a fan of any team that moves the ball, moves without the ball, and doesn't rely on one player in iso situations. Maybe movement will become fashionable again.

Agreed, I think Dray would be exposed as a top scoring option, but if he's won 3 or 4 titles already, he may choose to try something new. He's a Michigan kid, right? Maybe he goes home to Detroit or Minny is close by. A KAT/Wiggins/Green team would be really good.
I think klay will struggle with his own team as well, but he could fit in a lot of places. He'd be the perfect fit next to IT in Boston. He'd be great in Philly with Simmons and Embiid as well.
Put either of them on Brooklyn and they struggle quite a bit.
Neither Dray or Klay are 1A guys and I think they know that. Both are very versatile 2 way players that command max contracts though. I'm not sure either will run off on their own to be the man, but eventually the Warriors will need to let someone go. As soon as '19-'20 they could be paying up to $400M a year in combined salary and luxury tax. That's basically what Sarver bought the Suns franchise for, spent in a single year for a team. I can't see them continuing that for long even if they are winning titles. Out of the quartet of All-Stars I think Klay would be the first to go. I'm also certain the Lakers are banking on it.

I really agree with your first paragraph. Two superstars and two amazing role players, Klay looks more n more like a very good 3 and D guy the way he's being used and Draymond just doing his thing. The thing about the Warriors is the personnel fit, teams try to join up stars will always be more likely to be like the Heat n Cavs, with two or all three being ball dominant and someone having to become the 3rd wheel and have their numbers really suffer. The fact the stars on Ws are all shooters that can space who don't need heavy usage rates to be effective as oppose to slashers/scorers it's gonna be hard for other teams to find that mix trying to form a " big 3" that works

I think Middleton is one of the most underrated players in the league. He's an 18/4/4 guy who shoots 40% from 3 and plays great D. He does about everything you'd want from a wing player. Klay is the better shooter, slightly higher percentage and I imagine on higher difficulty, but I think Middleton is better at everything else.

Klay, and its not even remotely close. Middleton is not a better defender than Klay, he's not a better shooter than Klay, he's just inferior overall IMO. That's like comparing Middleton to Wes Matthews.

He's a better creator and I think they're pretty close defensively. Klay is probably better covering guards, Khris is bigger and better covering wings. I think Klay would still be my choice, but it's close. I have my doubts on how good Klay would be outside the warriors.
