Ya, I've been on team Jackson, if LA really takes him though, I guess ball would be pretty entertaining.

If Jackson goes #2, that means we are guaranteed a shot at either Fox or Ball.

Me, I would be happy with either (I've come around on Fox since I last chimed in), and would quickly move Bled for other assets. I'm not sure McD would do that. They seem to really like Bled in the locker room, and I bet they would love a 3 guard rotation with Bled / Book / Rookie.

I'd take Lonzo, father be damned. Anyone but Isaac. Boo that super secret 2nd workout, boo it to heck I tell you.

I'm bummed about this Jackson news. IF Gambo's reporting is correct (and I'm skeptical about a promise 10 days before the draft), I think it's the Sixers. I can't see LA promising someone who is not Ball.

To me Fultz, Ball and Jackson are the clear top 3. A bit of a drop-off after that.

I think Its Fultz, then everyone 2-7 are in the same ball park.

I'm frustrated to hear Fox declined to workout for the Suns, although I completely understand it from his (or his agents) POV.

I'm about even on Jackson and Tatum, so this guarantee rumor doesn't bother me much.

Lonzo Ball was probably the prospect I watched the most this year, but he's the one I'm being increasingly skeptical about. I don't like the idea of his father shooting his mouth off to the media, and I can't get the tourney game against UK and Fox out of my brain.

What I don't like about Ball is that he took 5 X as many contested jumpers as Fox and 2 X as many as the rest of the top PG prospects. I really worry about that against NBA defenses. To his credit he made them at a high rate but that he had so many contested is a big issue imho.

I seriously just assumed our good will with Callipari would get us a work out alone.

Thats because the only shot he has is a step back. Everything he takes is contested, he has 0 shot in between. 3pa or layup. Thats is a huge problem.

Fox's agent is Happy Walters, who had previously represented Amar'e when he was with the Suns. Not sure what that relationship is like now. Still, I think it's a gesture him not working out with us. Obviously he doesn't want Fox drafted into this situation. Either way, I'd try and have a deal lined up if he's there and Jackson and Ball are gone.

Ya, just wondering if there was any info on what happened there.

Also, heard that according to gambo, Tatum was incredible in his workout and shot better than Monk. I've been pretty anti Tatum, but if he's really that good of a shooter, I'm ok picking him.

I dont know why people seem surprised he can shoot. Obviously everyone shoots better in workouts, but if 1 thing isnt a problem for Tatum, its getting buckets.

He's not shown great ability to get buckets outside of 15 feet. You're not surprised Tatum reportedly put on a better shooting performance than Malik Monk?

Nope, kid cant stroke it, its like here with Booker, he hasnt shot the greatest % just yet, but you know he can do it, shot is too good not too. Same for Tatum IMO.

Don't take this as a sign or anything but Lonzo and LaVar Ball are on Jimmy Kimmel tonight and the music act is called Phoenix.
