Do you think Miami winning 70 games would have stopped Lebron from joining them? He arguably joined up with the 2nd best player in the NBA and definitely one of the top 5. And he added another top 10-15 player in Chris Bosh.
Would it be different if the warriors were just curry and klay and had won 50 games, then added Durant and Green in the offseason?
My point is both players took easy ways out to championships. Both ditched their teammates for the best possible teammates they could find to make it easier to win a championship. Durant just had a more cohesive group of "better teammates" to join.
I'm with Split here. It's slightly different but LeBron still built his own super team. Not once, but twice. I don't give a fuck about Durant leaving OKC for GS. He put in his time became a FA and got his right to choose. If you want to be mad at anyone at all, be mad at the NBPA for allowing the cap to spike like that instead of smoothing it out over time.
If we're being honest, Danny Manning and Wayman Tisdale started it, and most of us weren't complaining then.

I'm not sure whats worse, LeBron leg humpers or these legions of Warriors fans everywhere. Yuck. Dislike all parties involved, just dislike the Warriors more because I live in California where the bandwagons flow freely.

I'm totally with you, man. I enjoyed watching the Warriors run the previous couple of years but now I despise them since Durant's "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" act. Y'all enjoy year after year of the Warriors extended championship run without any competition. Yawn.

Totally agree about 1-2-gap. I think there's still a good gap between 1 and 2, as well. But age could catch up with LeBron in the next year or two. I would put Kyrie Irving and Chris Paul in the same batch as Curry, Harden, Westbrook.

Glad someone other than the Cavs won. Compare KD's actions all you want. KD didn't have an hour long show devoted to reveal what team he wanted to go play for. I also feel KD didn't hand pick the roster and coach like LeBron did. Lebron to me was more the kid in the store who threw a tantrum until he got everything he wanted. KD just wanted to play some place he could win multiple championships. It just happened to be for the team that knocked his previous team out. That is what rubs alot of people the wrong way. I'm not mad at him. I thought he took the humble approach for the most part.
