Yup, clears that up. They're not trading the pick either.Split T wrote:Well, Ball is definitely the pick now. I guess we're just waiting to see what Boston does.

I was excited when they put Magic in charge of the Lakers. It is going to end so badly.
I love that they are trying to build a super team which will still have no chance against the Warriors.

Don't count them out just yet. It might happen yet.

If it was just Magic, I'd agree, but Rob Pelinka could be a very good executive.EDC wrote:I was excited when they put Magic in charge of the Lakers. It is going to end so badly.

Re: Around the League: The Offseason
I would be fine with them hitching their wagon to a 33-year-old LeBron James (who will have over 1,400 games and 50,000 NBA minutes under his belt by the end of next year). He's elite now, but he's got a lot of miles on him.
Remember what happened when they paid their last superstar massive amounts of money after his expiration date?

I wonder if we could pry Patrick Beverly from Houston since they don't want him anymore?
Re: Around the League: The Offseason
Woj just said Charlotte traded for Dwight. This week has been crazy

Plumlee, Belenelli and the 41st pick for Dwight and the 31st pick. Wow.

Kyrie is terrific. i'm eager to see what he can do leading a team without Lebron.

He seems to be cancer. I still can't believe he refused to run the pick and roll with Nash. Just blows my mind. He had so much potential but he just couldn't get out of his own way.Shabazz wrote:Nobody likes Dwight.

But he's working on his 3-point shooting this summer!

Ok guys , is anybody concerned that McD has been a ghost or expecting us to get in the mix also this week

Plumlee traded again? Howard traded again? People are really regretting the money they gave these Centers last Summer. I'm telling y'all. We can't give Len $12M a year.
Go Suns!

Not concerned. McDonough runs a tight ship but I do expect us to make some kind of move in the next 2 days. It could be a small one like trading down and getting another asset or it could be a huge one like moving Bledsoe. I don't just expect us to pick at #4, #32, and #54 though.bajanguy008 wrote:Ok guys , is anybody concerned that McD has been a ghost or expecting us to get in the mix also this week

Nope, perfectly ok sitting at 4 and taking Tatum or Fox. More interested to see what we do in FA.bajanguy008 wrote:Ok guys , is anybody concerned that McD has been a ghost or expecting us to get in the mix also this week
Love, Hurts.
Re: Around the League: The Offseason
Interesting Howard stat. In his first seven seasons, his lowest FT% was .586. In the six seasons since, his highest was .547. What happened?

They got the #1 pick in the draft before LeBron returned. Kyrie is not really a PG, he's a SG in a PG's body.1tinsoldier wrote:Kyrie is terrific. i'm eager to see what he can do leading a team without Lebron.
