If we sign Blake, it might more sense to give up an asset to move him. The cap room would be needed for another FA. Hopefully a quality distributing pg. Let's say we give up a Miami pick to move Knight, but that opens up room to sign Jeff Teague. Its basically a pick and Knight for Teague, which I would do in a heartbeat.
I would not trade that Miami pick. They ended last season strong but could be a deep lottery team this year. Please no giving away first round picks just to undo past mistakes and stupid contracts.
YOu have to forget about the past and do the best thing in the moment. Its a protected pick.

I'm not giving up a pick to move knight unless we need to to add a significant piece. Teague is not significant, Bledsoe is better.

I feel bad for him in a lot of those clips. It isn't for lack of effort, that's for sure.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

It's def not a lack of effort or an attitude problem.

He's a guy that rode a hot stretch into a lucrative contract. His intelligence got him only so far and his lack of athleticism is the reason for so many laughable highlight clips.

one thing about this is that previously when a relationship with a player went sour, their on court production was still decent. With knight he had his years of putting up empty stats, but he didn't seem to take an responsibility for it either after his drop off this year. I was kind of hoping he would remake himself as more of an offball players, but event in previous interviews he always seems to have it in his head he is and has to be a point guard. You'd think he might look in the mirror just a little after getting benched for a 2nd round pick and then watching that 2nd round pick show you how a point guard should play.

I know many said it last year, but hopefully there is another round of bat shit crazy desperation contracts handed out this year in FA someone may think he's deal isn't that bad to roll the dice on. Hopefully Mc D reminds another GM that he was almost an all star in the East once, and now that the Eastern Conference sucks Knight must be a lock to get in!
