It's too bad. But the air up here is really bad. No place for an outdoor event.

Bad precedent. If you cancel events because of a fire, the fire wins.

TJ McConnell is a stud. Go Cats.

FiveThirtyEight.com has their 2017-18 predictions up -

https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/20 ... edictions/

They have the Suns ahead of Sacramento and Dallas in the west and eight of the top nine teams in the league in the west.

Playoff race in the western conference should be brutal this year, similar to east last year but with good teams. I'm not nearly as high on the Wolves as projections seem to be. Portland, Miami and especially Memphis are too low for my taste. And somehow Charlotte is on par with Washington which baffles me.

McConnell has proven to be a solid guy and he sure did well as a starter last year IMO. I think it's one of y'all U of A guys Bayless who is actually starting to have floor spacers on the court with Simmons. As for Fultz, many legit folks I follow seem bewildered by that changes he made in his shooting mechanics and he really seems to be struggling plus he been nicked up

His coach said Fultz's current shooting form is due to some shoulder injury so I guess it will eventually be back to where it should, but anyway Philly must be pretty upset. Maybe they should follow their tradition and sideline Fultz for the year haha.

I've been reading that Bayless will start.

https://twitter.com/samesfandiari/status/920147711986360320 This is a curious thing. I'm not sure it's a curse, hehe. But it certainly highlights the randomness of the draft.

I'm pretty sure Ingram will, too. Jabari could still grow into an allstar.

Lonzo reminds me a little of Nash when I was watching him in preseason. He tries to make many passes many of which were getting picked off. I'm sure he'll clean it up as time goes on but look for lots of turnovers from him in his rookie season.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.
