Picked up just where we left off in pre-season.
Go Suns!

How long were we stuck on 35? Maybe a timeout or something?

I think our problem is that we can't shoot, pass, or rebound.

Suns shot 29% and got out-rebounded 34-18.

Warren not having a very good game. Disappointed. Maybe he's still getting back to 100%.

We don't have any long-distance shooting. Our only 3 is from Jackson at the start of the game. Should let Daniels take a few. We really need to get more 3-point shooting on our roster.

Our bench has been pretty pathetic from an offensive standpoint. Only 5 Suns players (the starters) have scored.

Watson has completely eliminated bench points from the playbook

Wow! Other than the poor rebounding, shooting and ball distribution, that was a pretty impressive half of basketball. Saw a ton of things to give me hope #theTimeline
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Well, they held Portland to 44% shooting, which isn't bad - but then they also gave up 9 offensive rebounds.

To me, that is where we are getting killed. It wouldn't be a blow out if we didn't give up those layins after an o-board.

It is such an ugly type of basketball to watch. I wish we had a coaching staff that could install an offense that wasn't focused on a weave at the top of the key and then highly contested drives to the hoop.

I'm excited about Josh Jackson. I think we will all be clamoring for a hc change by the mid season mark.
