If Sarver would have signed off on giving Johnson the $50 mil extension, the Suns would have still signed Bell. Bell was excited about the possibility of backing up Joe, at least he said so that summer when he signed.

Are we drinking right now? I'm a few drinks behind, but i can't think of why else we would reopen a thread from February to talk about a contract from 2005.
