The whole staff should eventually get the boot. Let the new coach bring in his guys.

General manager Ryan McDonough and Watson had often been at odds in their short partnership together, league sources told ESPN. Owner Robert Sarver was a significant part of the decision to replace Watson so early into the season, league sources said.

My brother STILL makes fun of me for the way I used to scream "SCHAYES!!!" at the TV every time he screwed up.

Hey now, we lost to the Lakers by two points. It was an embarrassing effort, to be sure, but I don't think it technically qualifies as a "blowout."

Oh come on you haven't fallen in love with the weave that pushes us almost to half court at the start of most offensive possessions? :P

Thunder Dan, where are you?
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

GCU may not be the way to fame and fortune, but at least he's having fun. He'd probably rather stay there than join this shit show.

That's it, "coach." You are getting the asterisk treatment.

Earl Watson, you are now E**l W****n!! Now GTFO.

I don't agree with that AT ALL. It wasn't his fault he was given the reigns. What was he supposed to do, turn it down? He has nothing in common with the other asterisk members. Yeah, he was bad at his job but he was a good guy and tried his best. Sarver and McDonough deserve it more than he does, if you ask me. You might as well do it to Bledsoe now too.

Everyone should check out this thread. It is really interesting. I think he is making a lot of good points. Essentially, we were trying to run a complex flow style offensive system with kids who just weren't ready for it.

I wasn't sure about the formatting for an entire thread...

As I am sitting around waiting for Thunder vs. TWolves to start I was just thinking. Wouldn't it be so much fun to even be a half-decent basketball team?! Like, basketball is supposed to be fun!
