Bledsoe wants out!
Re: Game Day: Kings (1-2) @ Suns (0-3), Mon 10/23/17
Once again we held onto a player too long. I'm so sick of this team.

At least there is more than one team looking to trade for him That's one thing in the Suns' favor.

Yep, this is a on going story. The ultimate question now is, 'When will #TheTimeline ever stop and winning starts again?'.iLLmatic wrote:Once again we held onto a player too long. I'm so sick of this team.

Re: Bledsoe wants out!
Alot of people here defend his choice, which is fine. I think he should have done this in the off-season. Im not a fan of this crap 3 games in. Eff Bledsoe. All this does is teach the kids that they can get away with it too if times get tough.

Re: Bledsoe wants out!
Gambo said he requested a trade in the offseason. The FO knew he didn't want to be here. Familiar right?
Re: Bledsoe wants out!
All conjecture at this point but maybe he didn't want to destroy his trade value for the Suns. Unfortunately, our shitty owner and GM have their heads so far stuck up their ass they wanted to keep a player on the roster who clearly had no interest in playing here again. What else can be said about Robert Sarver and Ryan McDonough that hasn't already been said ad nauseam on this board?

Mudiay and Faried? Supposedly discussed this summer. I'd do it, but would also try and get a pick.
Re: Bledsoe wants out!
How long is Faried's contract?
Here's a couple options:
Denver: Mudiay, Arthur, and Beasley (Malik not Michael)
Orlando: Payton and Ross
Milwaukee: Brogdon and Teletovic
All 3 work in trade machine

https://twitter.com/Gambo987/status/922340545413783552 He really didn't give them all that much time to trade him if he waited until right before the season started. I assume that probably means after the preseason games.ShelC wrote:Gambo said he requested a trade in the offseason. The FO knew he didn't want to be here. Familiar right?
Ideally we would have ditched Watson, Bledsoe and Chandler in the off season but as long as we get a good haul for Bledsoe it isn't the end of the world. Honestly I am more concerned about the front office picking the right coach than about what they get for Bledsoe.
Re: Bledsoe wants out!
I'm sure management knew his feelings about wanting to be traded before the meeting. Once again, we held onto a player way longer than need be.

Bledsoe to NY for Sessions, Noah, and the Knicks pick in the upcoming draft?

I'd prepare yourself in advance. I'm sure we'll all be quite underwhelmed based on previous decision making of this front office.EDC wrote:https://twitter.com/Gambo987/status/922340545413783552 He really didn't give them all that much time to trade him if he waited until right before the season started. Re: Bledsoe wants out!
I don't like Mudiay, he's a young crappy Bledsoe clone. So I'd stay away from him.
I like both Payton and Brogdon. Brogdon is the safe choice and really gives us what we want next to Booker. A PG that can defend both guard spots and can play without the ball.
Payton has higher upside, but his lack of shooting is concerning on this team.

I wouldn't touch the Noah contract unless I knew that Knicks pick was top 5.O_Gardino wrote:Bledsoe to NY for Sessions, Noah, and the Knicks pick in the upcoming draft?
Re: Bledsoe wants out!
My concern right now - and this could be exacerbated by the impending Bledsoe trade - is the construction and balance of our roster. Right now, the pieces don't fit. We have too many young redundancies who need playtime. We need some veteran stability on the court, but it is hard to see where that is going to come from. We need to devote minutes at the SG, SF, and PF positions to our young players. In an ideal world, the veteran presence we need would slot in at the PG position. I don't know if I see us bringing back a know-quality PG in the Bledsoe trade though.
Don't be surprised if we end expanding the impending Bledsoe trade into something larger. If we are getting a young player back, I think we almost have to send out one of our young players in return.

Yea no way I'm taking back Noah's deal. I'd consider Kanter because he's only got 1 more year on his deal but supposedly the Knicks like him. I'd take Hernangomez in a heartbeat.
Mudiay's much more of a passer than Bledsoe, think he's got a better feel for the game. But they fact that Malone's pretty much given up on him isn't a great sign.

At this point I think we need to trade Bledsoe as soon as possible and just get the most value we can. Then take the next few months to evaluate what fits and what doesn't. I think it's likely we might have to move some pieces around. Chriss or Bender are the prime suspects.n4th4n wrote:My concern right now - and this could be exacerbated by the impending Bledsoe trade - is the construction and balance of our roster. I'm not too excited about Mudiay. He's been pretty terrible.ShelC wrote:Mudiay and Faried? Supposedly discussed this summer. I'd do it, but would also try and get a pick.

I agree. I think we need to let the new coach have some time with the guys before making that decision.Split T wrote:At this point I think we need to trade Bledsoe as soon as possible and just get the most value we can. Re: Bledsoe wants out!
My suspicion is that Chriss was a Watson guy and that he's going to be packaged in a trade now that Watson's out. Bender will start to get the 30 mpg that he is starting to show that he deserves.
And don't be surprised if McDonough somehow pulls a rabbit out of a hat and gets more value for Bledsoe than anyone has thought possible. It happened with Markieff and it happened with Dragic. He fouls himself and somehow gets a nice deal to wash the stench off his hands. It's been one of his saving graces, actually.
