Bledsoe wants out!

Oh man. Le Batard did another whole segment on the Bledsoe situation today. He basically said McDonough is awful at his job because he takes everything personally. That Goran Dragic taught everyone how to get out of Phoenix. Go public with something negative about the franchise and McDonough lashes out. He said you can not operate as a GM like that. I'm not sure I agree. I do like that he responds in kind but maybe that is not always what is best for the franchise when trying to trade someone.

What he needs to do is trade the player before they go public

I don't think that's true. He definitely wanted to ship him out of here before his first contract extension though.

It is interesting to see what fans from other teams are saying on this issue. They have picked up all the news except Bledsoe asking for a max extension. Even the bit about the team under performing with him at point. They are all like why would you even bring that up when he is asking to be traded. It definitely makes it seem weird when you leave out the part about asking for a max extension.

Triano went 11 deep last night, and I think everyone deserved the minutes they played. I guess James and Daniels would be the first players to see reduced minutes, but what if a deal also includes a capable big man?

It's because the Suns (Sarver) have a poor reputation around the league among many players, and it's to the advantage of other GMs if they anonymously disparage McD in the media.

The narrative would be completely different if this was the Spurs and R.C. Buford, for instance.

I think Brogdon would be a really nice complement to Booker and a frontcourt that features a bunch of non-shooters. Other than Jamal Murray, he's #1 on my wish list in these scenarios.

He is a solid distributing pg that plays d and is a good 3 point shooter. He is really exactly what we need—potentially. But the ankle is a potential problem.

It's just an ankle sprain and we've got Ulis and James for the time being. Is there something I'm missing? Does he have a traumatic ankle injury I'm not able to find anything about?

I would love Brogdon. Even more I would love Jabari. I am really hoping a deal gets done with the Bucks. Just for the love of God do not take back Teletovic. I can’t stand another stint with the Suns, I hated him the first go around. Only thing worse for me would be getting PJ Tucker back

Let’s be real here for a second. You may not like how McD has alienated players (Dragic, Morris, Bled) but let’s not act like he hasn’t gotten surprisingly good returns on his trades of these players after everyone had said their trade values had been ruined. I have 100% confidence that McD will maximize the trade value. I don’t have confidence that he’ll then use the assets acquired to form a cohesive unit.

Brogdon might not be an equal trade for Bledsoe, but he might be better for this team.

Bledsoe is TERRIBLE for this team. He's jogs up the court with the ball, pounds it into the hardwood for 15-20 seconds and then attacks the rim, either forcing a difficult finish or trying to get a teammate involved with 2 seconds left on the shot clock.

Totally. I'm just venting my frustration in Bledsoe. He's been a terrible fit since we got him. Look at our record with him. McD doesn't have to say anything about him being a poor leader to the press, as he has. His track record already speaks volumes about his leadership.

Hot take: Other than obviously Lebron, and John Wall, that list is a bunch of "meh" to "bleh" NBA players. We can safely ignore them and choose not to deal with Klutch Sports.
