Gosh, I wouldn't be surprised if it was 2-2 or better. Honestly, only losing by 40+ multiple times on this trip would surprise me.

Hello from New York. :) I'm with In2 as I think we go 2-2 winning both in NY. And breaking news... I'm going to meet up with fellow long time board member, ShelC, hopefully before tomorrow's game!

That's a cool meet up. Remind me again, is ShelC the owner of the pizza joint in NY?

Phoenix219 taught us what a Garbage Plate is, and it changed my life. OK, maybe not my life, but it changed my pant size. It's an entire weeks worth of calories and grease in one meal.

Wow, I'm afraid of a Garbage Plate with that description. Would probably kill me.

I've lost 25 lbs since May. I'm staying away from that! (Not that I'm not eating well on this trip.)

The Phoenix Suns could be the next team to be sold

There are already rumblings around the league that Robert Sarver, who bought the team from Jerry Colangelo for $401 million in 2004, is looking to cash out. While the NBA would never publicly admit it, the league would likely be quite happy if Sarver chose to move on, given the complete collapse of the franchise under his watch.

Despite never winning a championship, the Suns were long one of the league’s top franchises, making the playoffs in 24 of their first 36 seasons. Since Sarver took over, the Suns have missed the playoffs eight times in 13 seasons — a number that’s almost certain to grow this year to nine whiffs in 14 seasons, given Phoenix has already fired its coach, Earl Watson, and appears destined for yet another high draft pick.

Given the recent sales of the Rockets and Nets, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Sarver get somewhere close to $2 billion for the team — five times what he initially paid, enough return on investment to make anyone think long and hard about moving on.

I know we all hate the way Sarver has run the team, but I would be very leery of the buyer as well. The Suns arena situation isn't fantastic and we've see owners hold a city hostage numerous times. The very last thing anyone wants is for some jackass billionaire to buy the team and then move it to another city. Everyone can agree that at least Sarver is a better option than that scenario.

Can you imagine Sarver saying, "#SarverOut?! Screw these guys." And then selling the Suns to an owner who wanted to move the team?

I can. I could see him being vindictive.

That's definitely a worst case scenario. But it could happen.

And it kills me that he sunk the ship, but he could still make a huge profit.

If Sarver is going to cash out he would wait to get the new arena approved first. So however long that takes is probably how much longer Sarver will be around. I assume no one would vote yes while the Suns are this bad though? So maybe a bit of a catch-22 here.
