Just awful. A meh pick and a player who just creates a log jam at another position who won't even be with us after this year.
So now we've got to watch mike James for an entire year at starting pg. Cap space doesn't excite me since who wants to come here?

Why the rush? Why not a thon maker or Henson included?

I hope all players involved in this trade fail their physicals and this trade gets rescinded.
Dude. That's silly. If he fails his physical we'll really get nothing. Not even cap space and a middling first.
Fine, hope Monroe fails just his then.

How the fuck do they sell this to fans?!?

Said he was going to hold out for the best deal.
Bucks have been wanting to dump Monroe for ages.
If this was the best offeR, why not hold out till we get a better one. It's not like we got a pg back who would help us immediately and needed to rush. we got someone's else's unwanted garbage and a poor draft pick.

mcD should be nervous about getting a matching billboard next to the sarver out one.

Fuck!

Sweet trade.

McD is likely gone after the draft this summer one way or another.

If the pick is really lottery protected, that sucks. It should be top 8 protected, or something. But if the pick is in the 10-20 range, that's about all I would expect from Bled. It would have been magic to get more.

I don't know who would give more than a decent pick and an expiring for Bled. He's not that good, and there aren't many teams in a position to win now who don't already have a better guard. We should have traded him last season. Or, we could have never brought him in.

I just wish the Suns could see this stuff coming like so many of us can.

Very disappointed. I don't see why you have to make this deal at this moment. The pick is valuable, but taking back Monroe is a negative. We could have sat around with Bledsoe until the trade deadline and still received at lottery protected pick from someone. This is tragic on all accounts.

But boy do we have a lot of picks in this draft now. Jeez.

Glad this is over. Many will dislike the move now, but when the draft is here, we'll love having the extra pick and honestly, despite the surge in play and attitude under Triano, all I care about is developing the kids and getting a major prospect in 2018. I'm sure somebody will pay another 1stR if we use Monroe's salary to take a two or three year bad contract.

I hope we do that, and I hope we can swap picks to move up and grab a star. But we haven't had a history of being able to use the assets we build up.

Might stay off message boards for a while. Not looking forward to all the moaning and groaning and hand wringing every time Bledsoe has a good game.

Three in the first round in a deep draft. So, that's good.

Bledsoe didn't have a lot of fans. I think you are safe.

I am starting to read that this draft is not deep, just top heavy. There are like 4-5 prospect that stand out, but little after that. Personally, I believe you can find gems anywhere, so I like the extra shot we are allowing ourselves regardless.

Gotta be a decent defensive pass first pg available in the mid first round. Monroe is a decent offensive center when healthy. We get to let Len and Monroe audition. Plus we will likely get a shot at a top five pick.

I'd work to inmediately trade Chandler, but I have a hard time figuring out who can want/need him if we are not taking back a longer contract.

Ok, the protection on the pick is a little disappointing, but I doubt they fail to make the playoffs, so it's not a big deal at all. Also, this is going to be a pretty deep draft and a good big like Mitchell Robinson(compared to a young athletic Tyson Chandler) or Nik Richards could be available.

Even so, with the amount of assets and now some more cap room the Suns have, they should be able to make a trade for a young star that has suddenly come on the market that helps the team win.

I think McD did this trade just to get under INF's skin, as Monroe might be the last player in the league he wants to see on the Suns. ;)
