Yep, I'd think a collage would be in order.Shabazz wrote:Or Earl needs to do some arts & crafts.Cap wrote:Sounds like Bob needs a hug.Superbone wrote:https://twitter.com/Gambo987/status/922208637774262272
LOL!Flagrant Fowl wrote:Sarver can only blame himself for being a cheap POS and not paying for a real coach.
He should meet with himself and decide if he actually cares about having a successful franchise.
I still don't know why we ditched Horacek.n4th4n wrote:It is very easy to point at the Brandon Knight trade as the worst transaction of the McDo era. Do you guys remember how Sarver himself went down to the locker room to fire Horancek's assistant coaches? Watson reports to Sarver and was hired by Sarver.Superbone wrote:I'd say both together but moreso $arver. Yet again a huge mistake that will haunt the franchise for a long time.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote:Who was it who decided not to do any interviews for coaches when we hired Earl Watson? McDo or Saver? Or both together?
In hindsight, it would have been better to keep him but it still wouldn't have been a good long term solution.O_Gardino wrote:I still don't know why we ditched Horacek.n4th4n wrote:It is very easy to point at the Brandon Knight trade as the worst transaction of the McDo era. Told Ya So. He thinks he has a team that can compete for a playoff spot. Whenever McD talks to the media about how young teams rarely make the payoffs, but you never know, it's part of Ryan's internal political campaign to change Sraver's mind and get a little more control of the roster.Superbone wrote:I agree that when I heard that I knew Sarver was delusional. I think he really believed it too. I wonder what he is thinking now?Marty [Mori Chu] wrote:It's preposterous that Sarver said he expects the team to play .500 ball this season. Absolutely no one would have projected us to win half of our games this year.
I just worry that the wrong expectations will cause pressure on McDo to go trade some important assets like picks for win-now veterans who don't fit our goals.
My opinion is that there are a couple of things at play here:1tinsoldier wrote:i wasn't able to watch last season but the word was: the Suns were better than their record, Bledsoe had his best year, Booker might become a superstar, Chris and/or Bender could breakout.
We added one of the top draft pics, We lost little, and the coach is the same.
Can someone tell me what happened?
What are you seeing now that you didn't see 6 months ago and what might explain it?
Sarver is the hiring and firing manager of the coaches.Superbone wrote:https://twitter.com/Gambo987/status/922208637774262272
Exactly. Can he swallow his pride enough to let the basketball people run the basketball side and he can stick to the business side?Flagrant Fowl wrote:Sarver can only blame himself for being a cheap POS and not paying for a real coach.

The biggest issue is that, in his mind, he doesn't realize he's the problem. Ego is a son of a bitch.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote:The thing about cheapskates is, they want it both ways. He'd probably only want to pay a half bil to buy an NBA franchise, but if you asked him to sell the Suns, he'd want $2bil because that's what the Clippers sold for, or some bunk like that. He will probably not sell for a long time because these owners get addicted to the attention and fame of being pro sports owners.
We can't.JustWinBaby wrote:It sounds as if Triano is not even close to a good interim coach. If it really his offense that we are running how can we expect anything to change?
I have a hard time saying it is the fans' fault there are so many empty seats. Why keep paying for a product that is one of the worst in the league, and has been for years? And those seats 8-10 rows up you see on TV, are $300 a pop. Over 41 games that is a ton for a pair of tickets to watch your team not show ANY growth from game to game.Cap wrote:Judging by the empty seats and the cheering for opponents, perhaps we should add bad fans to the list. The Bobster wrote:Bad Owner? Bad GM? Check.
Bad Head Coach? Check.
Bad roster? Check.
Yeah, we've got all the bases covered.
But we have one of the best radio play-by-play men in the league. I guess that's something.
Yeah, that's a bad investment for anybody good with their money. Better to just watch them at home and suffer in silence.Indy wrote:I have a hard time saying it is the fans' fault there are so many empty seats.
