The best possible situation for Jalen Smith is him gaining confidence during the preseason and beginning the regular season with a rotation spot. I would hope they can strategize the game/minute split between him and McGee and McGee ends the season with a fair number of DNP CDs.
He also hears these trade rumors, so it must be a little weird for him right now.
