We just have a talent problem, and that’s on James Jones.
Maybe. Or it could be on Sarver and the hold for the impending ownership change. Either way, we should find out soon.
Except the talent problem is in large part due to decisions made long before Sarver decided to sell the team.

At this point I just don't see us getting anything for Crowder. 2nd round pick is his worth at this point.
I disagree. A lot more buyers out there than sellers. A lot of playoff teams could view Jae as a difference maker and give up their pick to get him.
The problem is that most of those teams don't have a 1st round pick to trade.

Yeah I don't see this. Nobody is giving up a quality asset for a streaky shooting glue guy.
Jazz got a 1st for Royce O’Neal.
Royce O'Neal hadn't taken half of a season off to pout and tweet at home.

We still don't know what restrictions, if any, Sarver was putting on Jones.

I think Jones has been very open and clear on his philosophy for building a team, and there have been plenty of moves and lack thereof that match Jones's philosophy.

I've never been in the business to scapegoat Sarver when there isn't any reason to, other than the Planet Orange philosophy that everything bad is Sarver's fault.

I still don’t understand why Brooklyn didn’t just bring back Bruce Brown…is Royce O’Neale a significant upgrade? I guess he is a better shooter, but didn’t seem like a great use of that 1st

Just a bad decision. Brown has been a better shooter in Denver than he was in Brooklyn, and Royce has a little more size. But yeah, burning a 1st rounder for that "upgrade" is a James Jones move.

Like I said, we'll see.

We gonna trade for an injured Durant and shut him and Booker down all year, lose out and add Wemby next year. Booker/KD/Wemby and just throw in 2 random guys.

Nice to dream, yeah? More likely we don't get Durant, lose out, and get the third pick.

I’ll take that too…Amen Thompson would be a nice addition, 6’7 wing with elite athleticism that can create at a high level? Yes please

Still rather have Scoot in this scenario.

I was in the camp for a bit that would consider Scoot, but Wemby is just way too good to pass up. If he hits and stays healthy we’re talking about maybe the most unique talent we’ve seen. He’s going to change the game.
